STORM CHOICE ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION — HOUSTON, TEXAS

Two honest ways to pay for a roof.

After a storm, the money question comes before the materials question. Here are the two paths, compared row by row — no fine print, no games. Storm Choice is a Houston roofing and construction crew: half the year planned replacements, half storm response.

PATH A — THROUGH INSURANCE

Storm Restoration

Priced to your approved scope

WHAT YOU PAY

Your deductible. The carrier pays the approved scope — we never ask you to cover the difference on approved items.

FIRST STEP

Free inspection and a damage file: dated photos, a roof plan marked with every hit, collateral damage to gutters and screens.

THE ADJUSTER

We meet them on the roof. The scope gets written against what is actually up there, not from the driveway.

IF THE SCOPE IS SHORT

We supplement — ridge, flashing, code upgrades — with photo evidence, until the scope is complete.

IF YOU WERE DENIED

Bring the denial letter. New evidence earns a re-inspection; about half the denials we review missed documented damage.

EMERGENCY LEAK

Same-day tarping via the storm line, $350–$900 · SAMPLE, folded into the claim file.

We document honestly and never manufacture damage. If a claim is not worth filing, we will tell you — a paid-nothing claim still goes on your record.

PATH B — OUT OF POCKET

Wind-Rated Replacement

$10,000 – $15,000 · SAMPLE

WHAT YOU PAY

A fixed written number before we start — typical 2,000 sq ft Houston home. No open-ended invoices.

FIRST STEP

Free inspection and a written scope: tear-off, deck condition, ventilation, material options with trade-offs.

THE INSTALL

Wind-rated throughout — sealed deck edges, synthetic underlayment, fastening patterns to uplift ratings.

UPGRADES

Class 4 impact shingles (+$1,500–$3,000 · SAMPLE) or standing-seam metal ($20,000–$30,000 · SAMPLE).

BEYOND THE ROOF

One crew, one invoice — gutters, fascia, siding, fences. We are a construction company.

INSURANCE DISCOUNT

Ask your agent about wind mitigation discounts — Class 4 often pays for itself over the policy years.

Nothing ordered until you approve the number in writing. Walkthrough with the foreman, warranties in writing, then we are gone.

QUESTIONS AFTER EVERY STORM

Asked, answered, on the record.

Claim or out of pocket?

If damage clearly exceeds your deductible, file. If it is borderline, get our free inspection first — a claim that pays nothing still goes on your record, and we will tell you straight which side of the line you are on.

My claim was denied. Is it over?

Often not. Bring the denial letter and the adjuster's scope. New evidence earns a re-inspection, and we know what re-inspections need to see.

How fast can you stop an active leak?

Same day, usually within hours — that is what the 24h storm line is for. Tarping and dry-in first, permanent repair after the damage is documented.

Do you chase storms to other cities?

No. Houston metro only — Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pasadena, Pearland. We are the ones still here in November.

Will a new roof lower my insurance?

Often, especially with Class 4 impact shingles. Ask your agent about wind mitigation discounts before you choose materials.

Can you do the gutters and siding too?

Yes — one crew, one schedule, one invoice for everything the storm touched.

Built for the next storm, calm about this one.

Free inspection, honest scopes, and a storm line that actually picks up. Serving Houston and the metro — Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pasadena, Pearland.
