A Seattle Japanese kitchen in two acts. Scroll: the dining room falls away, the black panel rises, and the whole menu lays itself out like an archive. Ramen, sushi, wok — every plate shot as it leaves the pass.

Ramen and sushi platter in warm restaurant light
Act two — the archive

The whole menu,
laid flat

Everything below is cooked to order, priced as marked, and gone by close on busy nights. The ramen broth starts before sunrise. The sushi rice is seasoned in small batches through the day. The wok burner does not have a low setting. Prices shown are samples — the board at the counter is the final word.

Take a seat

The room is small and the counter is the best seat in it — you can watch all three stations at once. Walk-ins are welcome; for parties of six or more, call ahead at (555) 010-2030 and we will push tables together.

Takeout travels well. Ramen broth is packed separately from the noodles so nothing goes soft on the ride home. Call it in and it is usually ready in about fifteen minutes.

Lunch and dinner daily; the wok stays hot until late on Fridays and Saturdays. Hours and prices below are samples — check the board at the counter for the day's fish and the day's specials.
