Private sessions, step by step
Everything starts with a twenty-minute intro call — free, no sales pitch. I ask about injuries, experience, and what you want practice to do for you. Then we book.
- Assess. First session includes a movement assessment: how you stand, squat, hinge, and breathe. I take notes. You get a copy.
- Build. Sessions two to four establish your core sequence — the poses we'll return to, with your personal alignment cues.
- Refine. From there we layer: harder variations, breathwork, or sport-specific mobility, depending on your goals.
- Keep. You leave each session with two or three things to practice at home. Ten minutes a day beats one heroic weekend.

Beach mornings
Saturday 7:00a on Miami Beach. We practice on the sand facing the water — an all-levels flow, then meditation as the sun clears the horizon. It is the least "studio" thing I teach and the most Miami thing I do.
Bring a towel or mat, water, and sunscreen already applied. I bring the speaker, the sequence, and a dry bag for your phone. First-timers: arrive ten minutes early and tell me — I'll set you up near me so you can follow easily.
Weather calls are made by 6:00a on the morning itself. Rain or lightning moves us to the studio; I'll text the group thread so nobody drives to the sand for nothing.

If you've never done yoga
Start with the Foundations course. Four weeks, same small group, zero expectation that you can touch your toes. You'll learn the names of the poses, how to breathe without holding your breath in hard shapes, and how to use props without feeling silly about it.
Can't commit to four weeks? Book a private session instead — one hour and you'll know enough to walk into any beginner-friendly class in this city. Or just come to Monday Hatha and tell me it's your first time. I'll keep an eye on you. That's literally the job.
