IYENGAR · MIAMI BEACH · EST. 2012
Beginner courses, multi-level classes, restorative evenings, back care, chair yoga, meditation, privates.
Iyengar yoga holds each posture long enough to understand it. Standing poses are measured joint by joint; blocks, straps, and chairs make the correct shape available to stiff bodies, injured bodies, and brand-new ones. Teachers adjust by hand. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is faked.
Class 01
Beginners
Four weeks of fundamentals. The names, the props, the basic actions of the standing poses. Stiff hips are the normal starting point here.
Why it works
Hold. Understand. Repeat.
Long-held postures, adjusted by hand — the method that keeps students coming back since 2012.
Class 02
Multi- level
75 minutes. The studio's core class — open to all levels, taught with options at every step.
Therapeutic
Back care & restorative
Small-group back care with rope-wall traction and supported backbends, plus long-held restorative evenings on bolsters and blankets. Many students arrive on a doctor's or physical therapist's suggestion. Intake forms keep the teaching honest and safe.
Class 05
Chair yoga
A full practice built around a sturdy chair — for older students, desk workers, and anyone recovering from injury. No floor work required.
Class 06
Meditation
Thirty minutes of seated practice on Sunday mornings. Breath observation and silence, with chairs and cushions provided. No cross-legged sitting required.
Private sessions
One to one
Sixty minutes built around your body and your schedule. The first session is an assessment: we watch how you move, ask about your history, and design the rest from there. In-studio or at your home in Miami Beach.
Arrive 15 minutes before class. We provide mats and every prop. Tell the teacher about injuries before you start — adapting poses is the whole point of this method.
Start aligned.
Your first class is the hardest to book and the easiest to love. Foundations runs every month; drop-ins are welcome in all multi-level, restorative, chair, and meditation classes. Bring nothing — the studio is fully stocked.
