Yoga Pura — Moon Valley

Yoga studio — Moon Valley, Phoenix · Since 2001

There's more to yoga than bending.

Yoga Pura has been teaching in Moon Valley, Phoenix since 2001 — Power and Flow classes for every level, led by master-level teachers. Our whole philosophy fits in two words: Live Happy.

We specialize in helping people use yoga practically: to nourish the body, settle the mind, and find the calm in the center of life's storms. Beginners and twenty-year practitioners share the same room here, and the teaching meets both.

Start with Beginners Basics or Gentle Flow, come ten minutes early, and tell the teacher it's your first class. Call (602) 843-7872 or write [email protected] — a human answers. Walk-ins are welcome for most classes, but a quick call ahead guarantees your spot on busy evenings.

Questions

Asked often

I've never done yoga. Which class?+

Beginners Basics or Gentle Flow. Tell the teacher it's your first class when you arrive — that's the whole system, and it works.

What should I wear and bring?+

Comfortable clothes you can move in, and water. Mats, blocks and straps are at the studio — you don't need to buy anything for day one.

Do I need to book ahead?+

Walk-ins are welcome for most classes, but a quick call to (602) 843-7872 guarantees your spot.

What if I have an injury?+

Tell the teacher before class starts — you'll get options throughout. For anything serious, check with your doctor first; this is yoga, not medical care.

What should I wear?+

Whatever you'd wear to stretch at home — comfortable, movable, nothing fancy. The studio has changing space, and most people arrive already dressed for class.

How long has the studio been here?+

Since 2001 — over two decades in Moon Valley, north Phoenix. The neighborhood has changed around us; the teaching hasn't.

Breathe across the screen.

Move your cursor through this panel and leave a trail — inhale as it rises, exhale as it fades. That's the whole practice, honestly.
