How we work
Most roofers quote from the pavement. We don't. Every job — a slipped tile or a full re-roof — goes through the same four chapters, and you're kept in the picture for all of them.
Chapter 01 — Survey
Not a drone flyby, not a guess from Google Street View. We climb up, lift tiles, check battens and felt, and photograph everything so you can see exactly what we see. Then one clear written price — free, no pressure, no follow-up pestering.
Chapter 02 — Strip
On a re-roof, everything tired comes off. Battens, felt, flashings — if it's past its best, it goes. We check the structure underneath and tell you honestly what we find before a single new tile goes on.
Chapter 03 — Build
New felt, new battens, tiles or slates laid straight and true, leadwork dressed by hand, ventilation sorted. We protect the garden, keep the neighbours on side, and leave the site clean every single night.
Chapter 04 — Stand by it
We walk the finished roof through with you, photos in hand. Then the guarantee goes in writing. And if anything isn't right afterwards, one call brings us back — that's the whole business model.

Built-up felt and asphalt systems for extensions, garages and dormers. Correct falls, sealed edges, no ponding — flat roofs fail when corners are cut, so we don't cut them.
Slipped and broken tiles, storm damage, leaks that only show up in sideways rain. Diagnosed properly first — we'd rather do a fifty-pound fix than sell you a roof.
Valleys, chimney flashings, box gutters and soakers, dressed and welded by people who handle lead every week. The quiet craft that keeps water out for decades.
Full roofline renewal in low-maintenance uPVC — straight fascias, vented soffits, gutters hung to proper falls. No more ladders and paint every few summers.
Roof windows and skylights supplied and fitted, flashed into the existing roof so they never become the leak you regret.

Most of our work is someone's home — and we treat it like it. Dust sheets, tidy scaffolding, a site you can live around. One point of contact from survey to sign-off.
