Slow down.Breathe deep.

MATS
Provided, cleaned daily

The studio sits above the shops on Garland Road, and it feels like it — wood floors, tall windows, afternoon light doing most of the decorating. Classes stay small on purpose, usually twelve mats or fewer, so the teacher can see your shoulders and remind them to drop. Marianna, our founder, teaches most mornings; her gentle flow classes are the ones regulars quietly plan their week around. We do not do hot yoga, we do not do competitions, and we will never ask you to touch your toes on day one. Bring whatever body you woke up in. We will take it from there, one breath at a time.

SIX STANDING CLASSES · ALL LEVELS · SAMPLE SCHEDULE BELOW
/01

Gentle Morning Flow

60 MIN
MON–SAT · 9:00A

Marianna's signature class. A slow sun-salutation sequence linked to long exhales, then twenty minutes of deep stretch on the floor. People come for the movement and stay for how quiet their heads get by the end.

/02

Breath & Stretch Basics

60 MIN
TUE · THU · 6:00P

The true beginner's door. Half the class is learning how to breathe on purpose; the other half is the dozen poses everything else is built from. Nobody is watching you. Seriously — we checked.

/03

Lunchtime Reset

45 MIN
MON · WED · FRI · 12:15P

A compact midday class for desk shoulders and tired eyes: neck, hips, hamstrings, five minutes of lying still. Back at your desk by one, noticeably less clenched.

/04

Chair Yoga

60 MIN
WED · 10:30A

The whole practice, seated and standing with the chair for support. Built for stiff joints, new hips, bad knees, and anyone who thought yoga wasn't for them anymore. It is.

/05

Candlelight Slow Flow

75 MIN
FRI · 7:00P

Friday nights, lights low, one long unhurried sequence and a very generous savasana. The closest thing this studio has to a party, and it ends with everyone lying on the floor.

/06

Weekend Open Practice

90 MIN
SUN · 10:00A

No sequence, no talking at the front — just the room, music low, and a teacher on hand if you want a suggestion. Move however your week asks you to.

CARD 03 / FIRST VISIT

Your first class

Arrive ten minutes early so we can show you the room and stash your shoes. Wear anything you can fold in half in. Eat lightly an hour before; drink water after. Tell the teacher about injuries, pregnancies, or anything that hurts — we adjust everything, and "I'll sit this one out" is a complete and respected answer. You will not be the least flexible person in the room; there is always someone newer than you think.

After class, stay for tea if you like. Half the friendships in this studio started with "was that your first class too?"

Come
as you are.

We are the studio people recommend when a friend says "I want to try yoga but I'm not a yoga person." The room is plain, the teaching is careful, and the coffee shop downstairs doesn't mind if you show up a little glowy. Walk-ins are welcome; a quick email helps us save you a mat on busy mornings.
