About the shop

Small shop.
Serious craft.

VITech Mechanical is a locally run mechanical shop in Phoenix. We handle the four systems your house quietly depends on: the pipes that carry water in and waste out, the gas heat that gets you through desert winters, the water treatment that tames Arizona's hard water, and the gas lines that feed your water heater, fireplace and generator. Our rule is simple and we put it in writing on every job: we will never recommend work you do not need, and we will never charge for it. If a repair is honest, we repair. If a replacement saves you money in two years, we show you the math and let you decide. Estimates are free on anything bigger than a service call, and a real technician — not a call center — picks up the phone.

Field notes

Note 01 — Emergencies

Water where it shouldn't be

Burst supply line, slab leak, water heater letting go at 2 a.m. — we answer around the clock. First thing we do is stop the damage: main shutoff, isolation, dry-out guidance. Then the fix, with the price agreed before wrenches turn.

  • STEP 1Shutoff walkthrough by phone while we roll a truck
  • STEP 2On-site diagnosis with flat, upfront pricing
  • STEP 3Repair same visit whenever parts allow

Note 02 — Water heaters

Hot water, no drama

Tank or tankless, gas or electric: we repair what is worth repairing and replace what is not. Most swaps are done in a single visit, old unit hauled away, new one registered for warranty before we leave.

  • STEP 1Age, capacity and venting checked on the first visit
  • STEP 2Repair-vs-replace math shown in plain numbers
  • STEP 3Same-day swap when the model is on the truck

Note 03 — Gas lines

Gas work is not guesswork

Adding a line for a new range, a fire pit, or a standby generator starts with a load calculation and ends with a pressure test you can watch. Permits pulled where the city requires them.

  • STEP 1Load calc and routing plan, free estimate
  • STEP 2Permitted install, inspected connections
  • STEP 3Pressure test + leak check at handoff
