Hot yoga · Stretch therapy · All levels
Urban Fit Yoga is a hot yoga and stretch therapy studio in Rice Military, Houston — established 2016. Group classes, one-on-one sessions, and Wayne's own Stretch Yoga Therapy. New students: 5 classes, 14 days, $49.
This is a small studio on purpose. A small team of certified instructors in Rice Military — every class led by someone who watches how you move and remembers it next time. Whatever you're drawn to — stretch, strength, flow, or stillness — you're learning from someone who's spent years in the room, not just certified to be in it. Teachers here know your name by the second visit. That's not a slogan; it's what happens when the room holds people instead of crowds.

Stretch, strength, flow, stillness — find your practice in a heated room with people who started exactly where you are. All levels welcome, always. Real classes, real times, bookable through the studio's own schedule.
Guidance built around your body. A teacher, a room, and an hour shaped entirely by what you need — technique, confidence, a practice that fits an injury or a goal.
Wayne's own method: private treatments that relieve pain and restore movement. Part stretch, part therapy, entirely about getting your body back to doing what it used to do.
Five classes over fourteen days for $49 — less than the cost of two drop-ins. Feel the room, meet the teachers, and decide with your body instead of a brochure.
Morning, midday, and evening classes every day of the week. The schedule on the site is the studio's own booking system — what you see is what's actually happening.
5702 Feagan Street, Houston 77007 — centrally located for the Heights, Rice Military, River Oaks, Galleria, and Downtown, with ample free parking. Come as you are; the heat does the rest.
STEP 01
Five classes, fourteen days, $49. It's the cheapest possible way to find out if hot yoga is your thing — and it's priced so there's no pressure to love it on day one.
STEP 02
Fifteen minutes, water, a towel, clothes you can move in. Tell the teacher you're new — that's not a confession, it's useful information, and it changes how they teach you.
STEP 03
Sit down whenever you need to. Nobody's watching, everybody started somewhere, and the heat is doing half the work for you. The only requirement is that you stay in the room.
STEP 04
The first class is survival. The fifth is when your body starts to recognize the room. By the second week, teachers know your name — and your hamstrings have opinions about it.

Yes — that's who the intro is for. All levels are welcome in every group class, and the teachers are used to first-timers. Take breaks, sit when you need to, and tell the teacher you're new so they can look out for you. Nobody expects flexibility on day one; that's the point of day one.
Wayne's own method — private, one-on-one treatments that combine deep assisted stretching with therapeutic technique. People come in with pain, stiffness, or movement they've lost, and the work is about getting it back. It's not a class; it's a treatment, booked privately.
Five group classes, usable over fourteen days. That's the whole deal — less than the cost of two drop-ins, and enough classes to feel the room properly before you commit to anything bigger.
Book ahead. Classes run on the studio's own booking system (Mindbody), and the schedule on the site is live — what you see is what's actually happening. Walk-ins risk a full room, especially evenings.
Water, a towel, and clothes you can move and sweat in. Arrive about fifteen minutes early, especially the first time. Everything else — the heat, the guidance, the rest — is the studio's job.
