Trace Zen Yoga was founded by Tracy, a nurse who started with gong baths and built a whole practice around them: breath-led Kundalini, long-held restorative postures, live sound baths, quiet Reiki, massage therapy with Gina B., and guided meditation. It is Black-owned and women-owned, and classes stay small enough that a teacher can actually see you. The in-studio boutique carries incense, crystals, and oils.
Do I need experience? No. Sound baths and gentle Kundalini assume zero — tell the teacher it is your first visit.
Is Kundalini religious? No. Breath and movement are tools for focus; chanting is always optional.
Can I come alone? Most people do. The room is built for it.
