Yoga studio · Sound sanctuary · Phoenix, AZ
A Black-owned, women-owned studio on Bell Road built around one idea: a room where your nervous system can finally stand down. Kundalini yoga, gong and sound baths, Reiki, restorative practice, and massage — for total beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Founded by Tracy, a nurse by training, the studio keeps classes small enough that a teacher can actually see you, and the long-running Tylrelax gatherings keep the neighborhood coming back.

What happens here
Breath-led kriyas, chanting, and meditation in a single class. Energizing without being athletic — and the class most students credit with clearing a crowded head.
Live gongs and crystal bowls played while you rest under a blanket. No experience, no flexibility needed. Imagine: sixty to ninety minutes of vibration — the deepest rest of your month.
A quiet 60-minute one-on-one energy session, fully clothed. People tend to book it on the weeks when talking about the problem has stopped helping.
Long-held, fully supported postures — bolsters, blankets, low light. Built for tight shoulders, bad sleep, and long weeks. Everything is provided.
With Gina B.: classic 60-minute massage, acoustic massage with vibrational therapy, and an introductory hot stone session for first-timers.
Guided sits and community circles, including the long-running Tylrelax gatherings. Cushions and chairs both available — come exactly as you are.
Tylrelax workshops, healing circle nights of chanting and shared quiet, and off-site retreats through the year. Open to all, no membership needed.
A small curated shelf of the things students keep asking about after class — incense, crystals, oils, simple ritual objects. Browse before or after your session.

No — that is the most common misunderstanding about yoga. Restorative classes and sound baths ask nothing of your body except that you show up; Kundalini meets you at whatever level you bring.
Quieter than you expect. You lie down, the instruments play, and most people spend the hour somewhere between waking and sleep. You do not have to believe anything for it to be restful.
Most people do. The room is built for it — arrive ten minutes early, tell the teacher it is your first time, and you will be looked after.
Tracy, a nurse by training, who started with sound and gong baths and built the studio around them. The practice is shaped by years of working with real bodies under real stress.
