Every yard is different, and real quotes are based on the amount of mowing and edging required. That’s why we price from satellite imagery first — most estimates don’t need a site visit at all.

Cut to the grass, never to the clock. St. Augustine 3.5–4 inches (4+ in shade), Bermuda 1.5–2, Zoysia 1.5–2. Every 7–10 days for St. Augustine and Zoysia, every 5–7 for Bermuda.

Clean lines along walks, drives and beds on every single visit — the detail that makes a mowed lawn look like a kept lawn.

Blowing
Full blow-off of hard surfaces after every cut. Clippings stay on the lawn where they feed it, not on your porch.

Fertilization
Season-timed feeding matched to Austin turf grasses, plus the free fertilizer your mulched clippings already provide.

Weed control
Pre-emergent timing and spot treatment. Thick turf cut at the right height remains the best weed defense there is.

Defined bed edges, healthy plantings, seasonal cleanups. The front of the house gets the same standard as the lawn.

The honest way to establish St. Augustine or Zoysia — seed simply won’t do it. We grade, lay and water it in right.

How short should my grass be cut?
St. Augustine 3.5–4 inches (4+ in shade), Bermuda 1.5–2 inches, Zoysia 1.5–2 inches. Never scalp it — cutting too short stresses the plant and invites weeds. Shady St. Augustine especially wants the extra height.
How often should it be mowed?
St. Augustine every 7–10 days, Bermuda every 5–7, Zoysia every 7–10 in growing season. We schedule to your grass type, not to our route convenience.
Do you bag the clippings?
No — we mulch them back into the lawn, finely chopped. Mulched clippings return nutrients to the soil. It’s free fertilizer on every visit.
Why do sharp blades matter?
A dull blade tears grass instead of cutting it, and torn tips turn yellow. Ours are sharpened weekly. If your lawn looks brown a day after mowing, suspect dull blades before you blame the Texas sun.
Can I just overseed the bare spots?
Only common Bermuda can be seeded — St. Augustine and Zoysia must be sodded. We’d rather tell you that now than sell you seed that won’t grow. And don’t lose sleep over thatch; it’s rarely the problem.
