Auto detailing · Austin, TX

Texas sun is rough on paint.
We fight back.

Central Texas gives your car UV, heat, dust, and the occasional flash flood — sometimes in the same week. Taurus exists for one reason: paint that stays glossy and protected through all of it, without you thinking about it.

01 — The shop

Protection,
not just
polish.

A detail makes a car look good for a week. Protection makes it look good for years, and that is the business we are in. Ceramic coatings that shrug off UV and road film. Paint protection film that takes the rock chips so your bumper does not have to. Window tint that cuts the cabin heat your dashboard has been soaking up every August. Correction work that erases the swirls before any of it goes on — because protection over damaged paint is just expensive damage. Bring us the car, tell us how you drive it, and we will tell you honestly which of these it actually needs.

02 — Services

Service index

Five disciplines, one standard: measure first, correct second, protect third. Every coating, film, and tint job starts with an inspection and a written scope.

01

Car Detailing

The full reset: thorough wash and decontamination, wheels and jambs, glass, then a complete interior — vacuum, extraction, steam, surfaces dressed. Recommended every three to six months depending on how and where you drive.

Interior + exteriorEvery 3–6 months
02

Paint Correction

Machine polishing in one to three stages to remove swirls, water spots, and oxidation. Measured with paint-depth readings. This is the mandatory first step before any coating — gloss comes from correction, coating just preserves it.

1–3 stageRequired before coating
03

Ceramic Coating

A hardened protective layer bonded to corrected paint. Resists UV, dirt, water spotting, and light contaminants while keeping the finish slick and easy to wash. The single best defense against the Texas sun.

UV defenseEasier washingMulti-year
04

Window Tinting

Quality film that cuts cabin heat, blocks UV, and gives the car its finished look. Cooler interior, protected dash and seats, and a lot less squinting on Mopac at 5 PM.

Paint Protection Film

Self-healing urethane film on the panels that take abuse — front bumper, hood, mirrors, rocker panels. Stronger and longer-lasting than any wax or sealant against chips, road debris, and scratches.

03 — The work

Three ways
we protect

Most clients land in one of these three packages. Each starts with correction — we will not coat or film over damaged paint, and we will tell you if your car needs less than you asked for.

01

Gloss

Correct + coat

The signature. Multi-stage correction to bring the paint back, then a ceramic coating locked in over it. For drivers who want the car to look wet all year and wash in half the time.

Included:

  • Paint-depth readings + written scope
  • Decon wash: foam, iron, clay
  • 1–3 stage machine correction
  • Ceramic coating, hand-leveled
  • Cure + maintenance sheet
02

Armor

Film the front

PPF on the impact zones — bumper, full hood, fenders, mirrors — over corrected paint. For highway commuters and anyone tired of touch-up paint. Self-healing film shrugs off the small stuff.

Included:

  • Correction on filmed panels
  • PPF: bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors
  • Wrapped edges where possible
  • 48-hr cure guidance
  • Care instructions for film
03

Cabin

Tint + interior reset

Window tint for heat and UV, plus a full interior detail — extraction, steam, surfaces. The commuter package: a cooler car that feels new inside every time you get in.

Included:

  • Full window tint, all glass
  • Interior vacuum + extraction
  • Steam on vents and crevices
  • Leather cleaned + conditioned
  • Glass and trim detailed

04 — Booking

How it goes

STEP 1

Call with the car

(512) 988-9866, Monday to Friday. Tell us the year, make, model, and what you want — coating, tint, film, or just a proper detail. We will give you a fixed quote, not a range with an asterisk.

STEP 2

Inspection at the shop

Drop by 10421 Old Manchaca Rd #200 and we will look at the paint in person — depth readings, defect check, honest advice on what it needs and what it does not.

STEP 3

The work

Correction first, protection second, always in that order. Coating and film jobs take multiple days; we will give you the exact timeline before you book.

STEP 4

Pickup + care sheet

Walkaround at pickup, then a maintenance sheet: how to wash it so the coating or film lasts as long as it should. Then you mostly forget about it — that is the point.

Straight answers

How does ceramic coating protect my car? +

It forms a hardened layer over the paint that resists UV rays, dirt, water, and minor contaminants while deepening the gloss. It does not make paint bulletproof — but it makes washing easier and fading far slower, which matters in Austin.

Is PPF better than waxing? +

For protection, yes — film is a physical barrier against rock chips, road debris, and scratches. Wax and sealants wear off in weeks; film lasts years. Different job, different tool.

How often should I get the car detailed? +

Every three to six months for a full detail, depending on driving habits and exposure. Coated cars can stretch longer between details because contamination releases so much easier.

What are your hours? +

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday — book weekday appointments ahead.
