Why do desert roofs leak if it barely rains?
Heat does the damage, rain exposes it. UV bakes underlayment brittle and cracks sealant; then a monsoon cell finds every seam the heat opened. Leaks start where materials meet — flashing, valleys, penetrations — almost never mid-field.
