Skyline Roofing Contractors is a London roofing practice with 45 years in the trade. Large commercial projects and smaller residential jobs get the same treatment: measured surveys, fixed written quotes, tidy scaffolded sites, and guarantees in writing. Pitched roofs in slate and tile, single-ply and liquid flat roofs, hand-cut leadwork, and standing-seam metals in zinc, copper, stainless steel and aluminium — all run from the firm's Hanwell base across London and the Home Counties.

Pitched roofing
New roofs and full re-roofs in slate and plain tile: battens, breathable membrane, lead flashings and ridge details, built to the tile maker's specification.

Flat roofing
Single-ply membranes, hot-applied liquid systems and traditional asphalt for flat and low-pitch roofs, detailed at skylights, parapets and outlets.

Lead works
Code 4–8 lead: valleys, hips, bays and flashings cut and bossed by hand — the heritage detailing that keeps older roofs weathertight for decades.

Hard metals
Standing-seam zinc, copper, stainless steel and aluminium for porches, bays, dormers and full roofs: long-life metalwork that barely needs upkeep.

Roof repairs
Leak tracing and local repairs: slipped slates, cracked tiles, failed flashing, perished mortar, worn flat-roof patches — repaired properly, not just sealed over.

Surveys & inspections
A measured survey with photographs of every defect, a plain-English report and a prioritised repair list. Useful before a purchase, an insurance claim or a planned re-roof.

Guttering & fascias
Replacement guttering, downpipes, fascias and soffits in cast iron, aluminium or uPVC, sized to the roof and re-laid to proper falls.

We come out, measure, photograph, and talk through what the roof actually needs.

Do you do emergency roof repairs after a storm? +
Yes. We handle emergency make-safe work and repairs after storms — slipped tiles and slates, torn coverings, damaged flashing. Call during opening hours; outside hours, email us and we pick it up first thing.
How long does a new roof take? +
A typical three-bedroom semi-detached re-roof takes around a week once the scaffold is up. The programme we send with your written quote gives the exact timeline for your job.
What guarantees come with the work? +
Every job carries a written workmanship guarantee, and materials such as single-ply membranes and metals come with the manufacturer's warranty where available.
