Seattle's original hot yoga studio. Thirty years of heat, breath, and showing up.

Our story

Sealevel has called Fremont home for over thirty years, and we are now under new local ownership — run by longtime practitioners who love this space, not a chain passing through. The 26 & 2 sequence that anchored this studio from the beginning is still here, right alongside new classes, new teachers, and new reasons to step on the mat. The heat is the heart of what we do: it warms the body so you can move deeper and more freely, and something about breathing through a hot, challenging class leaves you clearer and steadier than when you walked in. That steadiness follows you off the mat. We are holding the door open for the next thirty years.

Heated and unheated classes, all open to beginners. Start with the original sequence or dive into something new — every class is open to every body at every level.

01

Hot 26 & 2

Twenty-six postures plus two breathing exercises: the complete original sequence this studio was built on. Offered in 90-minute and 60-minute lengths. You do not need to be flexible, fit, or experienced to belong here.

Heated
02

Hot 26 Fusion

The 26 & 2 postures carried into a vinyasa flow. Familiar shapes, linked by breath and movement rather than held one at a time. New on the schedule.

Heated hybrid
03

Vinyasa Flow

A vigorous, breath-linked flow that will challenge you. Continuous movement rather than a fixed sequence, offered heated or unheated. New on the schedule.

04

Candlelit Yin

Slow and unheated, practiced by candlelight. Long-held floor postures that open the connective tissue and settle the mind. An hour in the evening, a couple of times a week.

Unheated
05

Hot Pilates

A strength-focused session in the heat. High-intensity, low-impact work that builds core and stamina. Coming soon to the schedule.

The rooms

01

The hot room

Get comfortable being uncomfortable. The room runs hot — around 100–105°F with steady humidity — so your body opens up and you can move deeper and more freely. The heat has defined this studio from the very beginning, and it always will.

Good to know

I've never done yoga. Can I still come?

Yes — every class is open to beginners, and the 26 & 2 sequence was designed for exactly that. Teachers offer options throughout, and nobody expects you to touch your toes on day one.

What should I bring?

Water, a mat, and a towel. That's the whole list. The heat does the rest. Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle into the room before class starts.

How hot is the hot room, really?

Around 100–105°F with steady humidity. It feels intense for the first few classes and then it becomes the thing you look forward to. Hydrate before and after.

Do you offer unheated classes?

Yes. Candlelit Yin and select Vinyasa sessions run unheated in the loft, which stays naturally warm. You can mix heated and unheated across your week however you like.

Where are you located?

215 N 36th St, Seattle, WA 98103 — in the Fremont neighborhood, our home for over thirty years. Call (555) 010-2030 with any questions.
