01 — The company
Scott Roofing Company is family-owned and operated, and has served more than 40,000 Arizona residents since 1982. That is forty-two years of Phoenix summers: tile roofs baked by July sun, flat roofs pounded by monsoon rain, shingles that curl and crack long before their time. We started as a small crew with one truck and a simple rule — do the job the way you would want it done on your own house. Superior service, done right the first time, is why homeowners keep calling us back and telling their neighbors. Our technicians are trained, licensed, bonded and insured, and every job gets a supervisor who walks the roof with you before and after the work. No sales pressure, no mystery line items. A free inspection, an honest assessment, and a written estimate you can actually read.
Every job starts with a free inspection. We photograph what we find, explain your options in plain language, and give you a written estimate before any work begins.
We walk the whole roof — field, flashings, valleys, penetrations — and document everything with photos so you can see exactly what we see.
Most leaks start small: a cracked flashing, a lifted tile, a seal that gave up. We trace the water to its source and fix the cause, not just the stain on your ceiling.
When a roof is past repair, a full re-roof is the honest answer. We tear off to the deck, replace damaged wood, lay fresh underlayment, and install your new roof to manufacturer spec.
Phoenix tile roofs usually outlive their underlayment. We lift and reset your existing tile over new underlayment, replacing cracked or broken tiles along the way.
Flat and low-slope systems for offices, retail and warehouses. Scheduled maintenance plans keep small problems from becoming shutdowns.
A homeowner called about leaks every monsoon season. The tile was fine; the underlayment underneath had aged out. Our crew lifted the tile row by row, replaced the underlayment across the full field, swapped roughly one in ten tiles that had cracked, and reset everything. The leaks stopped that summer. This is the most common job we do on Phoenix tile roofs — and the one most contractors misdiagnose.

Twenty-three-year-old shingles, curling across the south face. Two days of tear-off to the deck, a full deck inspection, new underlayment, and a fresh shingle install finished in four working days. The crew cleaned the yard and driveway each evening and hauled every scrap away. The homeowner's only job was picking the color.

A storm hit on a Friday night and water found the living room by Saturday morning. We were out the same day with a temporary patch to stop the water, then scheduled the permanent repair for the following week once the roof dried. Temporary patches are free when you hire us for the full repair.

STEP 04
Crews show up on time, protect your landscaping, clean up daily, and walk the finished roof with you before we leave.
Roofs vary too much for fixed prices, so treat these as sample ranges for planning. Your written estimate after a free inspection is the real number. Every figure below is a Sample for illustration.

|---|---|---|
| Roof inspection | Free (Sample) | Full walk-through, photo report, written findings within 24 hours. |

| Full re-roof | Quoted (Sample) | Tear-off to deck, new underlayment, full install. Quoted per roof. |

Yes. A free inspection and a written estimate are how we earn your business. We photograph the roof, explain what we found, and hand you the estimate — no obligation and no follow-up pressure.
Most single-family homes finish in 3 to 5 working days, depending on roof size and system. Tile lift-and-relay jobs run longer because every tile is handled twice. We give you a schedule in writing before we start.
Tile is our most common job in Phoenix. We repair slipped and broken tile, replace aged underlayment underneath existing tile, and install new tile roofs to manufacturer spec.
We watch the forecast and never leave a roof exposed overnight. If weather forces a pause, we seal everything watertight and reschedule immediately — and emergency patches are free when you hire us for the full repair.
We are based in Phoenix and serve the greater Phoenix metro, plus Tucson. Call (602) 442-7663 and we will tell you straight whether your address is in our service area.
