Chapter 01 — The studio
RS Auto Spa is a detailing studio in North York, Toronto. We work on sports, prestige, and luxury vehicles — and on the daily drivers their owners love just as much. Every car is assessed under proper lighting, decontaminated by hand, corrected by machine, and finished with STEK and XPEL paint protection film — ask the shop about coatings and waxes.
Chapter 02 — Services
Every cabin surface cleaned and dressed — seats, carpets, dash, vents, jambs, and the crevices most washes skip.
Hand wash, decontamination, machine-polished finish, sealed with wax or sealant.
pH-balanced clean and condition — grime out of the grain, no drying, no fake shine.
Two-stage hand wash, grit guards, plush mitts. Never a tunnel, never a brush.
Interior steam cleaning breaks down stains, odors, and bacteria; hot water extraction pulls embedded dirt and old residue out of seats and carpets.
Multi-stage machine polishing removes swirls, haze, and light scratches — and is the mandatory first step before any coating or film.
Semi-permanent layer bonded to the paint. professional-grade coating systems — ask the shop for details.
Slick, durable, aggressive water behavior with a deep dark finish.
Self-healing urethane that physically absorbs rock chips and scratches. STEK and XPEL paint protection film — the only protection that stops impacts.
Lifts bonded contaminants — rail dust, fallout, sap mist — washing can't touch.
Safe chemical and mechanical removal without marring the finish.
Faces, barrels, arches deep-cleaned; tires dressed; optional wheel coating against brake dust.
Emblems removed clean — adhesive dissolved, ghosting polished flush.
Careful degrease and dress of visible surfaces. No pressure washer on electronics.
Oxidized lenses wet-sanded, polished, and sealed for lasting clarity. Fabric convertible tops deep-cleaned and treated with water-repellent protection.
Hydrophobic coating — rain beads and sheets off at speed.
A clear sacrificial film that takes road-debris hits instead of your glass.
Standard and ceramic films — heat, glare, privacy. Cut and installed in-studio.
Dedicated products and a no-gloss process for flat, matte, and satin paint. Ordinary waxes would ruin these finishes — we keep a separate kit.
Chapter 03 — Protection
Two different kinds of armor, and an honest shop tells you which one you actually need. Paint protection film is the only option that physically absorbs stone chips and scratches. Ceramic coating bonds to the paint for gloss, chemical resistance, and easier washing — but it won't stop an impact. Many of our clients do both: film on the front end, coating everywhere else.
Self-healing urethane film takes the hits instead of your paint — then erases light marks with heat.
A semi-permanent sacrificial layer bonded to the paint. Deeper gloss, UV and chemical resistance, half-effort washes.

Coating wins on durability. Ceramic coating is a semi-permanent sacrificial layer bonded to the paint, lasting years with proper care; wax is temporary — weeks to months. Coating for the long term, wax for a short-term glow-up.

If rock chips bother you, yes. PPF physically absorbs stone chips and scratches; ceramic coating adds gloss and chemical resistance but won't stop impacts. Most daily drivers protect the front end.
Yes. Flat, matte, and satin paint gets dedicated products and a no-gloss process — ordinary waxes would ruin the finish.
