The work, in order
Slipped slates, cracked tiles, persistent leaks, storm damage. We find the source — not just the stain — and repair with matching materials so the fix disappears into the roof.
Chimney flashing, leadwork, valleys and abutments: the fiddly details where most leaks start, done properly.
When a roof is genuinely finished, we strip it back, check every timber, lay breathable membrane and finish in slate or tile that suits the property. Flat roofs get modern systems with proper falls and drainage.

Pebble-dash render is Scotland's traditional answer to horizontal rain. We cut out blown areas and re-dash to match, or strip and re-render whole elevations — prepped properly so it lasts.
Rotten boards out, vented boards in. Leaking gutters repaired or fully replaced in timber or low-maintenance UPVC. Many "roof leaks" are really roofline failures — we check it on every job.
