Ceramic Coating

A chemically bonded layer that locks in gloss and makes water sheet off the paint, with UV and chemical resistance measured in years, not weeks. It only performs over properly prepped, machine-polished paint — which is why prep is half the job.

Nano-ceramic and dyed films that cut heat and glare and add privacy. In BC the windshield and front side windows must stay clear — we install only compliant film and tell you exactly what is legal on your vehicle before we start.

How long does a ceramic coating last?
Years, not weeks — when maintained. Professional coatings outlast waxes and sealants by a wide margin; the exact lifespan depends on the coating line, washing habits and where the car lives. The free consultation walks you through the options and their pros and cons.
How much does ceramic coating cost?
It depends on vehicle size and paint condition, since prep and machine polishing are most of the labour. Quotes are free and itemised in writing — sample pricing on this page starts from $799.
Is window tint legal in BC?
Only behind the driver. BC's Motor Vehicle Act regulations (s. 7.05) bar aftermarket film on the windshield — except a 75 mm brow at the top — and on the two front side windows. Any shade is fine behind the driver and on the rear glass. We install compliant film only.
PPF or ceramic coating — what is the difference?
PPF is a physical shield: self-healing urethane that absorbs rock chips, scratches and road rash. Ceramic is a chemical layer for gloss, water behaviour and UV and chemical resistance — it will not stop a rock chip. Many customers do both: film on the high-impact front end, coating everywhere else.
Do I need an appointment? When are you open?
