Scroll slowly. The black panel rising over this photo is the whole idea of the shop: the finished work covers the mess underneath, and you never have to think about what is behind the wall again.
CHAPTER 01 — THE LEAK
It finds the weak joint, the tired washer, the valve nobody exercised in a decade. Most of our calls start the same way: a stain on the ceiling, a bill that doubled, a cabinet floor that feels soft under the cleaning supplies. We do not guess at those. We trace the line with acoustic listening and thermal imaging, open one hole instead of three, and show you what we find before we touch anything else.
"If I can't explain the problem in one sentence, I haven't found it yet."
A leak is also a decision point. A fifteen-year-old water heater with a rusted base does not deserve a new element — it deserves a dignified retirement. A pinhole in copper under the slab might deserve a reroute instead of a jackhammer. We will lay out both paths with real numbers and tell you which one we would pick for our own house. That conversation is free, and it is the most valuable part of the visit.

CHAPTER 02 — THE FIXTURE
A faucet is the one piece of plumbing you touch ten times a day. The difference between a $90 special and a well-made valve is not the shine on day one — it is whether the cartridge still turns smoothly in year six, and whether parts still exist when it needs service. We install fixtures we can stand behind, and we will talk you out of the pretty one with no parts support if you ask us honestly.
Bring the fixture you fell in love with, or let us source it. Either way we set it level, seal it properly, and put shutoffs where your hand can actually reach them. The supply lines will not look like spaghetti. The caulk line will be one clean bead, not a sculpture. Small things, but they are the whole job — a fixture install is finished when it looks like it grew there.
CHAPTER 03 — SAMPLE PRICING
These are starting points for straightforward jobs, not quotes. Your pipes get their own number after we look at them — in writing, before any wrench turns.
Kitchen, tub, or laundry line cleared with the right cable for the pipe, plus a camera look so you see the cause.
SAMPLE from $149Old faucet out, new one set with fresh shutoffs and braided supplies. You supply the fixture or we source it.
SAMPLE from $189Set level on a new wax ring or silicone seal, flange checked, supply replaced, old unit hauled away.
SAMPLE from $249Replacement with expansion tank, drain pan, venting checked, old unit removed same day.
SAMPLE from $1,450Acoustic and thermal tracing to find the source before we open anything.
SAMPLE from $249CHAPTER 04 — THE FINISH
When we leave, three things should be true: everything works, nothing drips, and you cannot tell we cut a hole unless we tell you where it was. We photograph every step for your records — useful the next time anyone opens that wall. Shoe covers on, drop cloths down, and we take the old parts with us unless you want the souvenir.
Dallas homes keep us honest. Mid-century galvanized that has seen better days, nineties builder-grade valves, new builds with their own surprises — we have worked behind all of it. If a repair does not make sense for your budget, we say so, and we tell you the $12 version when one exists. Call or text a photo of the problem: (555) 010-2030. A picture of the fixture, the leak, or the water heater label beats a paragraph every time.
Text a photo of what's wrong to (555) 010-2030 — the fixture, the stain, the water heater label. We will tell you whether it is a quick fix, a real project, or a $12 part you can handle yourself. Mon–Sat, 8a–6p, across the Dallas area.
