Chapter one — the room
Mind.Body.Hum sits at 905 Western Ave in Seattle — a woman-owned guided yoga and meditation studio where every class is led, every prop is provided, and beginners are welcome on any day of the week. Warm vinyasa for the mornings you need movement. Yin for the evenings you need to land. Sound baths, yoga nidra, breathwork and reiki for everything in between.
Guided meditationThe promise
"Cultivate presence, shift old patterns, rewire, breathe fully — and access total aliveness."
First visit
New students start at $60 for a full month, unlimited. Create your account online before you arrive — it takes 5–10 minutes on-site, so come early if you skip it. Doors open 15 minutes before class; arrive 10–15 early to park and check in.
Good to know
Only 20 mats live on-site — bringing your own is recommended. Mat rental $2 · mat towel $2 · shower towel $2 · monthly mat storage $11.
Chapter two — the practice
Breath-led flow in a gently heated room — creative sequencing, steady pacing, full-body reset. The studio's signature moving meditation. Yoga attire, water, and an open morning.
Long, supported holds for deep connective tissue. Slow, quiet, grounding — the counterweight to a fast week. Props provided; no flexibility required, ever.
Fully supported postures in stillness so the nervous system can downshift. Bolsters, blankets, quiet. Everyday clothing is welcome here.
A guided rest session in the vibration of singing bowls and instruments. You lie down and listen. All experience levels welcome — including none.
Guided yogic sleep, done lying down. A systematic relaxation practice where forty-five minutes can feel like hours of rest. Bring warm layers.
Conscious connected breathing journeys — a 3-part technique taught step by step, closed with a nourishing sound bath. Plus reiki circles and life-visioning meditation for clarity.
