01 — The studio

We are a Denver landscape design and build studio. We make sustainable landscapes and functional hardscapes for people who actually live outside — patios that get used, plantings that survive March snow, lighting that earns its keep after dark.

Design first, always. Every project begins with concept plans drawn for your lot — its slope, its sun, its soil — not a catalog. We know Colorado ground: the clay, the wind off the Front Range, the freeze–thaw that heaves cheap work apart by year three. Our details are drawn to survive it.

One team, start to finish. The people who sketch your concept are the people who set the stone. No hand-offs to a crew that never saw the drawing, no allowances buried in fine print — a fixed written proposal before a single shovel hits the ground. That is how an ordinary yard becomes an extraordinary one, and it is the whole slogan we work under: Transforming the Ordinary Into the Extraordinary.

  1. 01

    Landscape Design

Concept plans drawn for your lot, your light, and the way you actually live outside. Every build starts on paper — scaled, planted, and priced before we dig.

    Plantings & Garden Beds

Water-wise plantings chosen for Colorado's semi-arid climate. Real color, real texture — without the water bill of a Kentucky bluegrass lawn.

    Irrigation Systems

Efficient zones, smart controllers, and head-to-head coverage tuned to your sun exposure, slope, and soil type. Less water, healthier plants.

    Landscape Lighting

Low-voltage lighting that makes paths safe and architecture glow after dark — subtle by day, unmistakable by night.

    Commercial Grounds

Design, build, and seasonal care for offices, retail, and multi-family properties — entries that impress clients before they reach the door.

02 — Residential

Your home, outside.

Most of our work is residential: full design-build for Denver-area homes, from Cherry Hills acreage to Platt Park cottages. We design outdoor rooms the way architects design interiors — with circulation, focal points, and light — then build them with crews who have done it a hundred times.

  • →Front yards with curb presence — entries, beds, and walks that make the whole street slow down.
  • →Backyard retreats — patios, fire features, and planting that turn square footage into living space.
  • →Water-wise conversions — replace thirsty turf with adapted plantings that cut irrigation dramatically.
  • →Lighting & irrigation — the systems that make a landscape effortless instead of demanding.

03 — Commercial

Grounds that work.

Alongside residential work we design and build landscapes for commercial properties across the Denver metro — offices, retail centers, restaurants, and multi-family communities that need to look sharp 365 days a year with minimal fuss.

  • →Entry statements — signage beds, arrival courts, and lighting that brand the approach.
  • →Low-maintenance plantings — adapted species palettes chosen for durability and clean seasonal change.
  • →Seasonal color rotations — annuals and containers swapped on schedule, so entries never look tired.
  • →Safety lighting & drainage — lit walks, graded lots, and water managed away from structures.

04 — How we work

Four steps, one team.

STEP 01

Consultation

Free on-site visit. We walk the property, listen to how you live, and take measurements. No pressure, no clipboards of doom.

STEP 02

Design

Concept plans with plantings, materials, and lighting mapped to your lot — revised with you until it feels inevitable.

STEP 03

Proposal

One fixed written proposal with real numbers. No allowances, no "we'll see" — you approve it before we mobilize.

STEP 04

Build

The same team that designed it builds it, start to finish. Then we walk it with you and hand over care notes.

Questions, answered

Q1How much does a landscape project cost?

It depends on the scope — every project starts with a free on-site consultation and a detailed written proposal. A bed refresh and a full design-build are different animals; we'd rather walk your property and give you a fixed number than guess. The sample guide above shows typical ranges.

Q2Do your designs suit Colorado's climate?

Yes — we design for Colorado's semi-arid climate, using water-wise plantings and materials that handle freeze–thaw cycles. Plant palettes favor adapted and native species; hardscape bases and jointing are specified for heave, not just for looks.

Q3Do you work on commercial properties?

Yes — alongside residential work we design and build landscapes for commercial properties. Offices, retail, restaurants, and multi-family: entries, low-maintenance plantings, seasonal color, and lighting.

Q4What is your process?

Consultation first, then design, then a fixed written proposal, then build — you deal with the same team start to finish. The designers who draw your concept are on site for the build.

Q5Which areas do you serve?

Denver and surrounding metro neighborhoods including Cherry Hills, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Centennial, Aurora, Lakewood and Arvada. If you're nearby and unsure, call — we'll tell you straight.
