M.E Landscaping is a design-build company in Toronto: the people who draw your yard are the people who build it. Most landscaping goes wrong in the handoff — a designer draws something pretty, a different crew builds something cheaper, and the homeowner is stuck in the middle. We run design and build under one roof, so nothing gets lost between the drawing and the shovel. We build for this climate: freeze-thaw, clay soil, narrow lots, parking-pad rules. If a detail won't survive a Toronto winter, we won't sell it to you.

Landscape design — the whole yard on paper first: planting plan, grades, drainage, fixed quote.
Interlocking driveways — pavers on proper base and edge restraint; built for freeze-thaw, repairable by the section.
Softscaping — beds, shrubs, and trees chosen for Ontario winters.
Hardscaping — patios, walkways, retaining walls; graded to drain away from the house.
Outdoor kitchens — built-in grill stations, wired and plumbed to code.
Decks & woodwork — cedar and pressure-treated decks, pergolas, fences.
Permits & drawings — applications, drawings, and the city's questions, handled.

Do you handle permits? +

Yes — we handle all of it. Drawings, the application, and the back-and-forth with Toronto building staff for projects that need them. You sign; we chase. Most residential permits clear without you lifting a finger.

Is the consultation really free? +

Yes, free and no-obligation. We visit the property, hear what you want, and give a straight answer on scope and budget. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so on the spot.

Interlocking or poured concrete? +

For most Toronto homes: interlocking. Pavers flex with freeze-thaw instead of cracking through, and damaged sections lift out individually — no tearing out the whole slab.

Where do you work? +

Across the GTA: Toronto, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Thornhill, Maple, North York, Markham, Scarborough, Mississauga — and the surrounding areas between them.

How long does it take? +

A driveway or patio: a few days to two weeks on site. Design and permits add a few weeks up front; you get a written schedule before we start, and a site lead who tells you if it moves.
