Hot Hatha · Vinyasa · Yin · Houston Heights, Texas
We run Loveland Yoga the way a neighborhood should feel: warm rooms, teachers who learn your name, and a practice that meets you exactly where you are.
Loveland Yoga is a locally owned studio in Houston Heights, run as a family business with heart. The rooms run hot, warm, and room-temperature, so whether you want to work hard or wind down, there is a class that fits the day you are actually having.
New students are welcome in every class. If you are brand new, we point you toward Hot Hatha or Yin Stretch first — slower pacing, fundamental shapes, and teachers who can offer several versions of the same pose at once so nobody gets left behind.
Beyond the daily schedule you will find breathwork sessions, sound baths, self-mastery workshops, and seasonal retreats. The studio also keeps the practical stuff easy: Free on-site parking, complimentary towels, and mat and towel rentals if you forget yours.
Step one — arrive early
On your first visit, plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before class. You will be greeted at the door, shown where to put your things, and introduced to your teacher so they know this is your first time and can look out for you.
Class doors lock promptly at start time — late entry is not possible, so treat the clock as part of the practice. Houston traffic is real; the 72-space lot and overflow parking by the warehouses behind Les Baget help.
Step two — bring the basics
Bring a yoga mat, yoga towel, water bottle, hand towel, and workout clothes. Wear whatever feels comfortable to move in — it does not have to be traditional yoga wear. If you forget anything, the studio has you covered:
Mat + towel rental: $8 · Manduka mat rental: $5 · Water bottles: $4. Manduka ProLite mats are also available for purchase ($115) if you decide this is going to be a habit.
Step three — how it works
Browse the class schedule, pick the format that sounds right — Hot Hatha or Yin Stretch if you are new — and book your spot ahead of time. Complete your intake forms and payment online, then just show up.
In every class you have full permission to listen to your body: take a breather, choose the modified pose, or rest in child's pose whenever you need. Teachers are trained to teach multiple versions of each posture at once, so the room works for day-one beginners and advanced students side by side.

Start with Hot Hatha or Yin Stretch. Hot Hatha moves at a slower pace in a heated room, starting from fundamental poses so you can learn proper technique; the warmth also helps with flexibility. That said, every class at Loveland is suitable for beginners — teachers offer multiple versions of each pose at the same time, and you can rest or take a modified pose whenever you like.
No — rentals are available at the studio. Bring a mat, yoga towel, water bottle, hand towel, and workout clothes if you have them; if not, mat + towel rental is $8, a Manduka mat rental is $5, and water bottles are $4. Complimentary towels are part of the Loveland experience.
Arrive 10–15 minutes early for your first class. That gives you time to check in, meet your teacher, and get settled. Class doors lock promptly at start time, so late entry is not possible — plan around Houston traffic.
Free on-site parking. The studio chose the location specifically to make parking the least stressful part of your day.
Whatever feels comfortable to move in. It does not have to be traditional yoga wear — workout clothes you can stretch, bend, and breathe in are all you need.
