LB Heating & Air Conditioning Co. · Toronto, Ontario
You’ll Be Comfortable With Us!
Heat when it’s cold. Cool when it’s not.
We’re a residential heating and air conditioning contractor in Toronto. Furnaces, central air, and the preventative maintenance plans that keep both running — installed, serviced, and repaired by certified, experienced technicians who do this work every day, on every major brand.
Every visit starts with a thorough inspection. We clean the components, lubricate the moving parts, calibrate the thermostat, and hand you a detailed written report of what we found. If something needs fixing, you get the honest recommendation and the real price before we touch a wrench. Transparent pricing, no hidden fees — that’s how Brian has run this company from day one. Your air is our priority.
Most repairs finish in a single visit, and breakdowns jump the queue during business hours. If your furnace quits in January or your AC gives up in a July heat wave, call us first.

One honest report.
Photos are illustrative. Every job gets the same inspection checklist, whichever technician shows up.
Brian came back himself a few days after the repair, just to check the furnace was still running right. You don’t see that kind of follow-through anymore.— A customer in Etobicoke

What the
neighbourhood says.
What we do
Eight things,
done properly.
This is the whole menu. We don’t upsell what you don’t need — hover any row for a note from the shop floor.
Furnace heating service
Repair and tune-ups for gas furnaces of all major brands. We find the fault, quote the price up front, and most repairs are finished the same visit.
Brian’s note: if your furnace is over 15 and the heat exchanger is cracked, we’ll tell you to replace it — patching that is throwing money away.
Central air conditioning service
AC repair and seasonal tune-ups that keep the cool air coming when Toronto turns humid. We check refrigerant levels, coils, condensate drainage, and airflow through the whole system.
Brian’s note: weak cooling in July is usually airflow or a dirty coil, not low refrigerant. We check the cheap causes first.
Preventative maintenance plans
Scheduled visits through the year so small issues get caught before they turn into breakdowns. Plan members get priority booking and a written report after every single visit.
Brian’s note: the plan pays for itself the first time we catch a failing capacitor in October instead of you finding out in January.
Thorough inspections
A full-system check, top to bottom: heat exchanger, burners, electrical connections, safety controls, and duct connections. You get the findings in plain language, in writing — keep the report even if you don’t book the work.
Brian’s note: the report is yours. Take it, get a second opinion, call us back in a year — no hard feelings.
“We service all major brands, and we’d rather talk you out of a repair than into one.”
Cleaning of components
Burners, blower wheels, evaporator coils, and condensate lines cleaned properly. It’s the unglamorous work that keeps efficiency up and breakdowns down.
Brian’s note: a dirty blower wheel alone can cost you 20% of your airflow. We pull it and wash it — not just wave a brush at it.
Lubrication
Motors, bearings, and fan assemblies lubricated to manufacturer spec. A small job, done right, that adds years to the life of the equipment.
Brian’s note: most “mystery noises” are dry bearings. Five minutes with the oil can beats a new motor.
Thermostat calibration
We test and calibrate your thermostat so the temperature you set is the temperature you get — and we’ll walk you through the settings you’re already paying for but probably not using.
Brian’s note: half the “broken furnace” calls we get are a thermostat set wrong after a power outage. We check that before anything else.
Honest recommendations & detailed reports
After every visit you get a detailed report and a straight recommendation: repair it, keep an eye on it, or replace it — with the real numbers attached so you can decide with a clear head.
Brian’s note: if the honest answer is “it’s fine, see you next year,” that’s what the report says.

How we work
Four steps.
No surprises.
You call or write
Tell us what’s happening — no cool air, a furnace that won’t start, or just “nobody’s looked at it in years.” We’ll book a time that fits your day, not ours.
We inspect first
The technician goes through the whole system and writes up what they find. You see the report before any work starts — it’s yours to keep either way.
You approve the price
One fixed quote, in writing, before a single bolt turns. If you say no, you still keep the report and our thanks. No pressure, no “while we’re in there” extras.
We do the work, then check it twice
Repair or tune-up done, system tested under load, work area left clean. And if our letter-writers are anything to go by, don’t be surprised if Brian swings by a few days later just to make sure it’s still running right.

Breakdowns
No heat in January is an emergency. We treat it like one.
When your furnace dies in a cold snap or your AC quits during a heat wave, your call jumps to the front of the line — that’s the whole point of keeping trucks stocked and schedules sane.
One honest note: we’re not a 24/7 call centre, and we won’t pretend to be. We’re a local shop with real hours, and during those hours, breakdowns get priority over routine tune-ups every time.

answered straight.
Q1How much does a visit cost?

Q2How do I book?
Call 416-762-1291 during business hours and you’ll talk to a person, not a phone tree. Or send the quote form above and we’ll call you back the same business day.
