What is the difference between a heat pump and an air conditioner? +
None, mechanically. In New Zealand the two names describe the same reverse-cycle machine — "heat pump" emphasises winter heating, "air conditioner" summer cooling. Every unit we install does both.
How much does an installed heat pump cost? +
It depends on room size, brand and install complexity. A standard bedroom highwall starts around $1,850 installed (sample pricing). You always receive a fixed written quote before we begin.
How long does installation take? +
Most standard highwall installs finish in a single day. Ducted and multi-room systems take longer — your quote carries a clear timeline.
Do you service units you did not install? +
Yes, across all major brands. A yearly service keeps the system efficient, protects the warranty and keeps your indoor air cleaner.
Which areas do you cover? +
