Questions
Repair or new roof?
A proper survey decides it. Isolated slipped tiles, a failed flashing or a tired valley usually mean a repair — a few hundred pounds and a day's work. Widespread perished felt, sagging timbers or tiles past their service life mean replacement is cheaper than patching the same roof every winter. We photograph everything and show you, so the call is yours on evidence, not pressure.
What does it cost?
Samples only: minor repairs £180–£350, a garage flat roof £900–£1,800, a full 3-bed semi re-roof £6,500–£11,000 in tile. Your real quote is itemised line by line — materials, labour, scaffolding, waste — fixed in writing before we touch a ladder. No "sign today" discounts, no vague day-rates.
Emergency call-out?
Yes — 24 hours, across South East London and a 50-mile radius. Storm damage, slipped tiles, water coming in: we make it safe first, then quote the permanent repair like any other job. The call-out is for genuine emergencies; a quote for planned work is always free.
Guaranteed?
Every job, in writing. We are fully insured, we use quality materials from established suppliers, and if anything we fitted is not right, we come back and put it right. Thirty years in the trade is a long time to be wrong about a roof.
How disruptive is the work?
Less than people fear. Scaffolding goes up, we work days, dust sheets protect indoors, waste is contained, and the site is swept every evening. A full re-roof on a 3-bed semi typically takes 4–6 working days; most repairs are done in one.
