The hot
room

Hot Yoga Brickell has run the same simple formula since 2011: a room heated to 105°F, a fixed hatha-based sequence, and sixty or ninety minutes of concentrated work. The heat is the teacher's assistant — muscles warm faster, the mind has nowhere to hide, and the sequence never changes, so progress is impossible to miss. Beginners start in the 60-minute class; the 90-minute format is the full traditional sequence for experienced students. New students begin with a $79 unlimited intro month — thirty days to find out what the heat does for you.

Hot 60 — Express

The full heat in sixty minutes. A condensed hatha-based sequence: standing series, floor series, and two breathing exercises, taught at a pace that keeps beginners in the room and regulars honest. This is where everyone starts — including people who have never done yoga.

The $79 intro month

Thirty days of unlimited Hot 60 classes for $79. Come three to four times a week and the sequence stops feeling foreign by week two. Bring a mat towel, a large water bottle, and modest expectations for day one — everyone struggles in the heat at first.

PRICE $79 · DAYS 30 · CLASSES unlimited Hot 60
Your first week, suggested
  • Day 1 — Hot 60, back row. Goal: stay in the room the whole hour.
  • Day 3 — Hot 60 again. Notice which postures already feel familiar.
  • Day 5 — Hot 60. Try the full expression of two postures you know.
  • Week 2+ — Add a fourth class. Ask the teacher about the 90-minute format when you are curious.
Path 02 · The full sequence

The 90-minute classic

The traditional hot yoga sequence in full: every posture given its proper time, no condensation, no shortcuts. Ninety minutes at 105°F is a serious commitment — students typically move up after two to three months of regular 60-minute practice.

LENGTH 90 min · ROOM 105°F · LEVEL experienced
What changes at 90 minutes
  • Longer holds — postures get the time they were designed for.
  • Deeper floor series — the backbends and twists open fully.
  • Mental training — the last twenty minutes are mostly concentration.
  • Recovery knowledge — you learn exactly what your body needs after class.
Path 03 · The commitment

The 30-day challenge

Thirty consecutive days of practice — the tradition that built this studio's community. Not about perfection: about showing up. Finishers' names go on the studio wall, and most challengers describe the month as the point their practice became a habit rather than an activity.

Challenge rules, plainly stated
  • One class per day counts; doubles do not count double.
  • Missed a day? Start the count over — the discipline is the point.
  • Hydrate and eat normally; the heat punishes fasting.
  • Tell the front desk you are challenging so we track you.

Heat,
explained

Why 105°F

The room is heated to 105°F with controlled humidity. Warm muscles stretch more safely, the heart works harder at the same effort, and sweat does what sweat does. The sequence is fixed and hatha-based — the same postures in the same order every class — so your progress is measured against yourself, not against the person next to you.

First visit

Arrive 20 minutes early — the heat needs no introduction but your body does. Bring a yoga mat, a large towel to cover it, and at least a liter of water. Wear as little as you are comfortable in; everyone else will. Eat lightly two hours before. Tell the teacher it is your first class; they will keep an eye on you.

Questions

I've never done yoga. Can I handle 105°F?
Yes — start with Hot 60 and sit out any posture you need to. Everyone's first class is humbling; the second is already easier.
What should I bring?
A mat, a large towel for the mat, and plenty of water. We rent mats and sell towels at the desk if you forget.
Is hot yoga safe?
For most healthy adults, yes. If you are pregnant, have heart issues, or take medication affected by heat, check with your doctor first and tell the teacher.
How often should I come?
Three times a week is the sweet spot most regulars land on. Daily practice is fine once your body adapts — usually two to three weeks.
Do I need to book ahead?
Walk-ins are welcome, but evening classes fill up. Booking online guarantees your spot in the room.
Where do I park?
Garage and street parking around SW 1st Ave; the studio is steps from the Brickell Metrorail and Metromover stations.
