A small shop that treats your system like its own.

Houston summers don't negotiate. When the condenser quits at 4pm in August, you need a tech who shows up, finds the actual fault, and tells you the number before touching a wrench. That's the whole business model here: diagnose first, explain in plain words, fix it once. Most calls end in a repair, not a sales pitch — and when a unit is genuinely past saving, you'll hear why, with the math laid out, before anyone talks replacement.

AC Repair

Dead compressor, frozen coil, weak airflow, warm vents, breakers tripping, water where it shouldn't be. The tech finds the fault first and shows it to you before quoting. Most repairs are completed on the visit.

System Replacement

When the repair bill starts chasing the replacement cost, it's time. Full changeouts sized by Manual J math, not by guessing off the old unit's label. Old equipment hauled away, new line set flushed or replaced, thermostat set up and walked through with you.

Heating Service

Houston winters are short but the cold snaps are real. Furnace tune-ups, heat pump service, ignition and safety checks — done in the fall so January doesn't surprise you.

Maintenance Plans

Two visits a year, spring and fall: coils cleaned, refrigerant verified, electrical tightened, drains flushed. The point is catching the small stuff before it becomes an August emergency.

Ductwork

One room freezing while another sweats is usually the ducts, not the unit. Inspection, sealing, and rerouting for balanced airflow across the house.

How a visit goes

Scroll — each card stacks. Same four steps on every call, repair or install.

A

You call, we listen

Tell us what's happening — the sounds, the smells, which rooms feel wrong. We schedule a window that works for you and show up in it. Before anything else, the tech walks the system with you and hears the full story.

  • Evening slots available
  • Text when en route
  • Shoe covers, drop cloths
B

Diagnose, then explain

Full inspection: electrical, refrigerant, airflow, drainage. Then the tech shows you the fault and explains it in plain language — what broke, why it broke, and what the options are. No jargon, no pressure.

  • Show-you-the-part diagnosis
  • Repair vs. replace math
  • Written quote before work
C

Fix it once

Work starts only after you approve the number. Quality parts, torqued and tested connections, system run through a full cycle before the tools go back in the truck. The work area gets left cleaner than it was found.

  • Approved quote, no add-ons
  • Full-cycle test run
  • Area cleaned after
D

Walkthrough & follow-up

The tech walks you through what was done, what to watch for, and how to get the most from the system. If anything feels off in the days after, call — it gets looked at again.

  • Plain-English walkthrough
  • Maintenance reminders
  • Callback if unsure

The rules here

Short version

Rule 01

Diagnose first

Nobody quotes a repair without finding the fault. Guessing is how you pay twice.

Rule 02

Numbers in writing

The price is on paper before the work starts. It doesn't move mid-job.

Rule 03

Repair before replace

If a repair is the honest answer, that's the recommendation — even when it's the smaller ticket.

Rule 04

Clean boots

Drop cloths, shoe covers, and a swept work area. Small thing, done every time.

Questions

Straight answers
How fast can someone come out? +

Same-day or next-day for most of Houston during the week. During heat waves the board fills up — maintenance plan customers get first pick of the remaining slots.

My AC is blowing warm air. What is it usually? +

Usually one of four things: a failed capacitor, low refrigerant from a leak, a frozen coil from restricted airflow, or a dead contactor. A diagnostic visit tells you which one in under an hour — guessing from the couch costs more in the long run.

Repair or replace — how do you decide? +

Two questions: how old is the system, and what does the repair cost against a new one. If the unit is over 12–15 years and the repair is a big fraction of replacement, replacement usually wins. The tech lays out both numbers and lets you decide.

Do you work on all brands? +

Yes — residential split systems and package units from the major manufacturers. Parts availability varies by brand and age; if a part is hard to source, you'll hear that upfront.

What areas do you cover? +

Houston and the surrounding neighborhoods. If you're outside the usual loop, call anyway — for bigger jobs the trip is worth it.

Hours

Monday – Saturday. Emergency calls picked up as long as a tech is on the road — if it's the middle of the night and the house is 88°, call anyway.

What to have ready

Your address, the unit's brand if you know it, and what it's doing wrong. Photos of the thermostat reading and the outdoor unit help the tech bring the right parts on the first trip.
