Chapter 01 — The audit
Every job starts the same way: we come out, we measure, and we find out where your energy is actually going. Heating, lighting, motors, tariffs — an energy audit turns a vague feeling that "the bills are too high" into a ranked list of fixes, each with a cost and a payback.
The audit often pays for itself before we fit a single thing. Sometimes the answer is a timer reset and a tariff switch. Sometimes it is a new array on the roof. Either way you will know, in writing, before you spend a pound on hardware.
Chapter 02 — The roof
Solar is one of the world's most established renewable technologies, and on the right roof the returns are genuinely impressive. We survey orientation and shading, model the yield on real local daylight data, and design a system that suits the property — not the biggest array we can sell.
Grid connection, inverter, generation monitoring and the registration paperwork come as standard. Most home systems are fitted in one to two days, and you are generating before we leave.
Chapter 03 — The supply
Voltage optimisation is a proven energy-saving technology that regulates your incoming power supply so equipment runs closer to its ideal voltage. On the right supply it trims electricity bills with no change to how anything works — the lights, the motors, the heaters all behave exactly as before.
The honest part: on the wrong supply it does nothing. So we log your incoming voltage first, and if the data does not support it, we will tell you not to buy one.
Chapter 04 — The driveway
We fit home and workplace chargers for electric and plug-in hybrid cars, and we support you through the whole EV journey: choosing the right charger, fitting it tidily, and setting up smart charging so you fill up on the cheapest overnight rates.
Single-phase home installs are usually half a day. Commercial sites get three-phase setups for fleets and staff, with load management so the chargers never trip the building.
Chapter 05 — The lights
Modern LEDs replicate the look and feel of your existing lighting while using a fraction of the energy — and they last years instead of months. For shops, offices and warehouses it is often the fastest payback of anything we fit.
We design the layout to proper light levels, fit the fittings, and take the old tubes away for recycling. Emergency lighting compliance checked as we go.
Interlude — Numbers
We do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind. When we have audited figures to share, they will sit here. Until then: ask us on the survey and we will show you recent jobs near you.
Chapter 06 — The method
01 — Survey & audit. We visit, measure and photograph. Free, no obligation.
02 — Fixed written quote. Itemised: equipment, labour, scaffolding, paperwork. The price we quote is the price you pay.
03 — Installation. Our own engineers, not a chain of subcontractors. Scheduled around your life or your opening hours.
04 — Handover & aftercare. Commissioning, monitoring app walkthrough, certificates — and a direct number that gets answered.
Residential or commercial, the principle is identical: survey first, fixed quote in writing, tidy work, someone who answers the phone afterwards.
Chapter 07 — The ground we cover
We are based around Leeds and work across West Yorkshire and beyond. If you are nearby and not on the list, call anyway — we travel for the right job.
Chapter 08 — Indicative pricing
Every property is different. These are guide figures so you can sense-check the scale; your survey produces a fixed written quote. Figures marked (Sample).
| Job | Guide | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Home EV charger, installed | from £850 (Sample) | Cable run & consumer unit dependent |
| Domestic solar PV | from £5,500 (Sample) | Typical 4 kW-class roof system |
| Voltage optimisation | per site (Sample) | Supply survey first |
| Commercial LED refit | per site (Sample) | From a lighting plan |
| Energy audit | from £250 (Sample) | Credited if work goes ahead |
Chapter 09 — Questions
Yes — panels run on daylight, not heat. A Leeds roof still generates a strong yield across the year, and our payback modelling uses real local daylight data, not brochure figures.
Most straightforward installs land between £800 and £1,200 (Sample). The cable run and the state of your consumer unit decide it. Survey first, fixed price after.
On the right supply, yes; on the wrong one, nothing — and we will tell you which yours is. We log your incoming voltage before recommending anything.
Most home systems: one to two days. Survey and design beforehand, scaffolding the day before, generating by the time we leave.
Yes — about half of what we do. Solar arrays, three-phase voltage optimisation, workplace EV charging and LED refits, with savings modelled in writing first.
