Eight decades of roofs over the Valley.

Hardacker Roofing has been working on Phoenix roofs since 1943. That is more than eighty years of monsoon seasons, 115-degree summers, and tile, shingle, foam and flat systems across the Valley. We are a licensed, bonded and insured roofing contractor, A+ accredited with the BBB and GAF certified. We do re-roofs, repairs, coatings and inspections for homes, and we also build roofs for custom homes, new construction and light commercial work. Every job starts with a free on-site visit and a detailed written estimate. We walk you through the options in plain language, price the work honestly, and financing is available when you need it. No pressure, no mystery line items — just a roof done right.

What we actually do up there

Card 01 — Steep slope

Tile & shingle re-roofs

Phoenix eats roofs. UV bakes underlayment, monsoon winds lift what heat loosened, and a tile roof that looks fine from the street can be failing underneath. A re-roof from us means a full tear-off, new underlayment rated for desert exposure, corrected flashing, and tile or shingle installed to manufacturer spec — then we walk the whole roof with you before we call it done.

  • Clay & concrete tile systems
  • Architectural asphalt shingles
  • Desert-rated underlayment
  • Flashing & ventilation corrected

Foam roofing & coatings

Spray foam is the workhorse of Valley flat roofs: it insulates and waterproofs in one continuous layer with no seams to split. When a foam roof ages, a reflective coating restores its UV armor and buys many more years without a tear-off. We install new foam systems and recoat existing ones, and we will tell you straight which one your roof actually needs.

  • Elastomeric & silicone coatings
  • Recoat programs for aging foam
  • Flat & low-slope assemblies

Repairs & inspections

Most leaks are not where the water shows up inside. We trace them on the roof — failed flashing, cracked tile, dried-out sealant, punctures — and fix the cause. Buying or selling? Our inspections give you a written read on remaining life and what is coming, so you can negotiate or plan with real numbers instead of guesses.

  • Broken tile replacement
  • Monsoon & wind damage
  • Buyer / seller inspections

Card 04 — Specialty

Metal, decks & flat systems

Standing-seam metal for homeowners who want the last roof they will buy. Walk decks that stay waterproof under foot traffic. Built-up and single-ply for flat sections. Specialty work lives or dies on details — drainage slope, terminations, penetrations — and details are where an 80-year-old company earns its keep.

How a job runs with us

  1. Call or email

Reach us at (602) 358-8458 or [email protected] during business hours. Tell us what you are seeing — a stain on the ceiling, missing tile after a storm, a roof you know is aging out.

  2. Free on-site look

We come out, get on the roof, and inspect it properly. The visit and the quote are free. We explain what we find in plain language and show you photos of problem areas.

  3. Detailed written estimate

You get a line-item estimate — scope, materials, timeline — before any work is scheduled. Financing options are available; ask us during the quote and we will walk through them.

  4. Build & walkthrough

We schedule the work, protect your property during the job, clean up daily, and finish with a final walkthrough of the completed roof with you.

FAQ — questions, answered straight

The five things Phoenix homeowners ask us most. Short answers first, detail after.

Is the on-site quote really free? +

Yes — the visit and the written estimate cost nothing, with no obligation. We come to your home, inspect the roof, and leave you a detailed estimate with scope, materials and timeline. Whether you hire us or not, you keep the information.

How long does a foam roof last, and when does it need recoating? +

A foam roof can serve for decades, but its coating is the part that faces the sun and needs renewing on a cycle. In Phoenix UV, plan on evaluating the coating roughly every 10–15 years — sooner if you see thinning, ponding wear or exposed foam. During an inspection we measure coating thickness and tell you whether you need a recoat now or can wait.

Do you offer financing? +

Yes, financing options are available. A re-roof is a major purchase and we do not expect everyone to pay cash on the spot. Mention it when we quote and we will explain the options in plain terms before you decide anything.

What are your business hours? +

Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, closed Saturday and Sunday. Call or email during those hours and you will reach the office, not a call center. If you email after hours, we respond the next business day.

Which areas do you serve? +

All of Maricopa County, anchored in Phoenix. That includes Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, Goodyear, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert, plus surrounding Valley communities. If you are inside the county and unsure, call — we will tell you plainly whether we can get to you.
