Gleamworks Detailing is a ceramic coating studio on Laurel Street in Vancouver. We bond coatings to clear coat, lay paint protection film, and do the machine polishing that has to come first. Ceramic Coating
Two certified systems: Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra (warrantied up to 9 years) and CarPro CQuartz Professional (2–10 years). Sample pricing from $1,699 by vehicle size. The coating bonds with your clear coat — hydrophobics, UV and oxidation resistance, and defense against the light scratches that age daily drivers fastest.
Paint Protection Film
A urethane film that physically absorbs rock chips — the one impact a coating can't take. We fit it to bumpers, hood leading edges, and mirrors, and stack coating over film on high-impact zones so you get chemical and physical protection together.
Paint Correction
Multi-stage machine polishing under LED light. Swirl marks, haze, and light scratches are removed, not hidden. Non-negotiable before coating when defects exist — a coating seals in whatever is underneath it.
Tesla Services
Coating and film calibrated for Tesla's soft clear coat.

Inspection
LED-light paint evaluation. Every swirl, chip, and thin spot is mapped before anything touches the car.
Wash & Decon
Two-stage wash with iron and tar decontamination. Bonded contamination has to go before polishing starts.
Clay Bar
Clay treatment lifts the embedded grit that washing leaves behind — the paint should feel like glass.
Machine Polishing
Multi-stage correction. This is where the gloss is actually built — the coating only preserves it.
IPA Wipe-Down
Panel wipe strips polishing oils so the coating bonds to bare, clean clear coat.
Coating Application
Applied panel by panel in a controlled bay. Level, check under light, move on.
IR Curing
Infrared curing locks the coating down, then a final LED inspection before handover.

How long does a coating last in Vancouver? +
Up to 9 years with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and proper maintenance. Vancouver's rain and road salt are exactly what coatings are built to resist — the weather doesn't shorten the warranty, bad washing does.
Is it worth doing on a daily driver? +
Yes — daily drivers gain the most. Washing takes roughly half the time, and salt, bird droppings, and road film rinse off instead of bonding to the paint.
Coating vs. PPF — what's the difference? +
Coating is chemical, PPF is physical. Coating bonds with the clear coat against UV, oxidation, and light scratches. PPF is a urethane film that absorbs rock chips. We stack both on bumpers, hood edges, and mirrors.
Does the paint need correction first? +
If it has swirl marks, yes. A coating seals in whatever sits underneath it. The LED-light inspection at step one shows exactly how much correction your paint needs.
