About the crew

A family shop,
not a sales fleet.

Durafoam started in 1989, and it is still a family business. That matters when the roof over your head is on the line: the person who inspects your roof is the person whose name is on the company. We built our name on spray foam roofing — a seamless, lightweight system that fits the way Phoenix builds: flat and low-slope roofs, brutal sun, and monsoon bursts that find every weak seam. Foam goes on as a liquid and cures into one continuous skin, so there are no shingles to lift and no felt laps to dry out. Around here, a foam roof asks for a fresh elastomeric coating about every five years; we do that work too, along with repairs, leak calls, tile and shingle roofs, and full commercial systems. Free inspections have been our standing offer for years — no pressure, just photos, straight talk, and a written quote you can sit with.

Services
index

Ten ways we keep a Valley roof dry. Every job starts with a free inspection and a written quote.

  1. 01

    Spray foam roofing

Full spray polyurethane foam systems for flat and low-slope roofs. The foam cures into one seamless, lightweight skin — no seams to split under Phoenix heat — with a reflective top coat that bounces the sun back.

    Our specialty
  2. 02

    Foam roof recoating

The five-year rhythm of a foam roof in the Valley. We wash, prep and re-coat with elastomeric coating so UV never reaches the foam. Recoating on schedule is what turns a foam roof into a decades-long roof.

    Every ~5 years
  3. 03

    Foam roof repair

Cracks, blisters, ponding damage, worn coating — patched and re-sealed with matching foam and coating. Most residential foam repairs land in a modest range; we quote every one in writing after the free inspection.

    Sample $300–$1,500
  4. 04

    Roof leak repair

Find the entry point, not just the stain. We trace leaks to their source — flashing, penetrations, skylight curbs — and fix the cause. During monsoon season we run same-day leak response.

    Same-day · monsoon
  5. 05

    Tile roofing

Clay and concrete tile repair and replacement, including the underlayment work that actually keeps tile roofs dry. Broken tiles swapped, valleys re-lined, ridge reset.

    Tile + underlayment
  6. 06

    Flat roof repair

Built-up, modified bitumen and other flat systems: seam failures, ponding, flashing pulls. If a flat roof is a candidate for foam, we will tell you — it is often the better long-term answer.

    Flat & low-slope
  7. 07

    Commercial roofing

Offices, retail, warehouses and HOAs across the Phoenix Valley. Foam systems, recoats and maintenance plans sized for big square footage and tight operating schedules.

    Valley-wide
  8. 08

    Shingle roofing

Asphalt shingle repair and replacement for the Valley's pitched roofs — wind-lifted tabs, worn valleys, full tear-offs when the roof is done. Straight quotes, no upsell script.

    Pitched roofs
  9. 09

    Skylight repair

Most "roof leaks" near a skylight are really failed flashing or a tired curb. We re-flash, re-seal, or replace the unit — and we check the surrounding roof while we are up there.

    Flashing first
  10. 10

    Roof maintenance

Scheduled checkups: drains cleared, coating checked, penetrations re-sealed, small issues caught before monsoon finds them. The cheapest roof is the one you maintain.

How we work

Three panels.
Zero guesswork.

Scroll through the way a job actually runs with us — from the first phone call to the last walkthrough. What you read here is what happens on your roof.

Panel 01 — Foam systems

Foam is our home turf.

We have sprayed foam across the Valley since 1989 — long enough to know exactly how it behaves under 115° sun and sideways monsoon rain. A foam roof is one continuous membrane: no seams, no nails, no laps. It insulates as it waterproofs, and the bright top coat reflects heat instead of soaking it up. When the coating wears — about every five years in Phoenix — we recoat it, and the clock resets. That is the whole long game: spray once, recoat on schedule, and the roof keeps going.

  • Full SPF systems for flat & low-slope roofs
  • Elastomeric recoating on the 5-year rhythm
  • Seamless — no shingles to lift in wind
  • Reflective top coat for desert heat
  • Foam-over options for tired flat roofs
  • Written specs & warranty terms up front

Panel 02 — Leaks & repairs

Leaks don't wait. Neither do we.

A water stain on the ceiling is already late. Call and we come look — the inspection is free, and we bring a camera so you see what we see. We trace the water to its entry point instead of patching the stain, then give you a written quote with the real options: repair, recoat, or replace, in that order of preference. When monsoon season is on, leak calls jump the line with same-day response, because a storm does not care about your schedule.

  • Free inspections with photos you keep
  • Same-day response in monsoon season
  • Source traced — not just the stain patched
  • Sample foam repair range: $300–$1,500
  • Written quote before any work starts
  • Rosie on the House certified crew

Panel 03 — Beyond foam

Tile, shingle, flat & commercial.

Foam made our name, but a Valley roofer has to speak every roof. We repair and replace clay and concrete tile — including the underlayment that does the real waterproofing. We handle asphalt shingles on pitched homes, flat-roof systems on additions and patios, and full commercial roofs where downtime costs money. Skylights, flashing, penetrations, drains: the details that decide whether a roof stays dry. One crew, one license, one phone number for all of it.

  • Clay & concrete tile, incl. underlayment
  • Asphalt shingle repair & replacement
  • Commercial roofs & maintenance plans
  • Skylight re-flash & replacement
  • BBB accredited since 2008

Roofing quotes depend on size, slope, access and condition — anyone who prices your roof sight-unseen is guessing. These sample ranges are honest starting points from jobs we actually do. Your written quote, after a free inspection, is the real number.

The process

Five steps.
No surprises.

This is the whole job, start to finish. If a step ever gets skipped, ask us why — the answer should be a good one.

  1. Call or reach out

Tell us what you are seeing — a stain, a drip, granules in the gutter. We will ask a few questions and set a time.

  2. Free inspection

We walk the roof, photograph everything, and check the attic side when we can. You keep the photos either way.

  3. Written quote

Repair, recoat, or replace — with the honest order of preference and the price of each. Sit with it as long as you like.

  4. Scheduled work

We show up when we say we will, protect the landscaping, and keep the site clean enough to walk barefoot.

  5. Walkthrough

We go over the finished work with you, hand over warranty terms, and set the maintenance rhythm — usually a recoat check every five years for foam.

FAQ

Asked
every
week.

Q1Is the inspection really free?

Yes — the roof inspection costs nothing, and there is no obligation. We walk the roof, take photos, and give you written findings. Plenty of inspections end with "you're fine, see you in a few years," and we are happy with that outcome.

Q2How often does a foam roof need recoating in Phoenix?

About every five years. The Valley sun breaks down the elastomeric top coat faster than milder climates do. Recoating on schedule protects the foam underneath and is the single biggest factor in how long a foam roof lasts.

Q3What does a foam roof repair cost?

Most residential foam repairs fall between $300 and $1,500 (sample range). It depends on the size of the damaged area and the condition of the surrounding coating. The free inspection and written quote give you the exact number before any work begins.

Q4Do you work on tile and shingle roofs too?

Yes. Foam is our specialty, but we repair and replace tile roofs (including underlayment), asphalt shingles, flat roofs, skylights, and full commercial systems. One licensed crew — ROC 223900 L-42 — for all of it.
