Why it matters

"Most roofing disputes are not about the roof. They are about the quote, the schedule and the certificate. We fix all three before we lift a tile."

— The way we work
Services, in detail

New roofs & re-roofs

Full strip-back and rebuild from the felt up. Choose natural slate, concrete tile or heritage stone; we match materials to the street and the conservation area where it matters.

Includes · strip · felt & battens · ridge · NFRC certification

Flat roofing

EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and traditional lead for extensions, garages, dormers and bay windows. Proper falls for drainage, modern insulation, ten-year guarantee.

Includes · survey · falls design · insulation · guarantee

Loft conversions

Dormer, hip-to-gable and Velux-only conversions. Most of a loft conversion is roofing work — that is our trade — with Building Regs signed off in-house.

Includes · dormers · Velux · weatherproofing · Regs certificate

Roof repairs

Slipped tiles, failed flashing, storm damage, split valleys and blocked gullies. If a repair will do it properly, we repair — most leaks stopped in a day.

Includes · leak tracing · tile replacement · flashing repair

Chimneys, gutters & Velux

Chimney repointing and rebuilds, chimney gully re-leading, fascias, soffits, guttering and roof window installations.

Frequently asked
Do I need building regulations for a new roof?
Yes, when more than 25% of the covering is replaced. We are NFRC Competent Person Scheme members, so we certify it ourselves — no council application, no inspector visit, and the certificate comes straight from us.
Repair or re-roof — which is right for me?
It comes down to economics. Localised damage — a few slipped tiles, one failed flashing — means repair, usually in a day. If the covering is failing everywhere, re-roofing costs less than chasing leaks. Our free written quote tells you honestly which.
What does a typical repair cost?
Most minor repairs run £280–£600 and finish in a day. Access and scaffolding move the price more than the size of the leak. A full re-roof of a terrace or semi is typically £7,000–£18,000 over six to nine working days.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Every roof is fitted by our own in-house team of qualified roofers, and the owner does the first site visit himself.
Are you insured? Is the work guaranteed?
Yes to both. £10 million public liability cover, a 10-year workmanship guarantee on major projects, and — as CORC members — an insurance-backed guarantee option on any job.
