A SAMMAMISH PLUMBING SHOP
Good plumbing,
backed by a dog's promise.
We're the Sammamish plumbing crew named after Kuma, our dog. Fixing what's behind your walls — toilets, faucets, water heaters, gas lines — with free estimates, straight-talk pricing, and a guarantee with his name on it.
Our pitch is simple: #1 customer experience. Text us instead of calling — we like it. We'll explain what we're doing, why it needs doing, and how to keep it from happening again. Modern tools, shoe covers on, price agreed before we touch a wrench.
01 — WHY "COMPANION"
"We named the company after our dog Kuma. He taught us the important stuff: show up happy, be loyal, never leave a mess behind."
— THE KUMA GUARANTEE: NOT HAPPY WITH THE WORK? WE COME BACK AND MAKE IT RIGHT. NO FINE PRINT.
02 — SERVICES
Everything with a shutoff valve.
Seven services, one standard: explained in plain English, priced before we start, cleaned up after.
Toilets
Running, rocking, or refusing to flush. Tank rebuilds, bowl resets, fill valves — flushing like the day it was installed.
Sinks
Kitchen and bath. Slow drains, leaking traps, corroded shutoffs, full replacements — tested twice before we pack up.
Faucets
Indoor and outdoor hose bibs. Drips that keep you up at night, weak pressure, full replacements, freeze-proof winter upgrades.
Garbage disposals
Jammed, humming, or stone dead. We repair or replace — and tell you what never to put down one again.
Gas lines & furnace
Gas piping and furnace work by people who treat gas with the respect it deserves. No shortcuts, no guessing.
Plumbing inspections
Buying or selling a house? A full walkthrough of the plumbing — supply, drains, water heater — before you sign.
Sewer scope
Camera inspection of your sewer line, with the video file handed to you. Know what's down there before it backs up.
03 — PRICING
Sample numbers.
Real quotes are free and in writing. These are ballparks so you know we're sane.

09 — FAQ
Asked a lot.
Are estimates really free? +
Yes. Free during business hours, and free within 12 miles of our office. No trip-charge games, no asterisk.
Do you work outside Sammamish? +
Yes — all over the Eastside. Issaquah, Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton, Snoqualmie, North Bend, and Mercer Island, plus nearby neighborhoods.
What's a sewer scope, and why would I need one? +
It's a camera inspection of your sewer line — and you keep the video file. Buyers order one before closing; homeowners order one when drains keep slowing down or the house has big old trees nearby.
Should I swap my tank water heater for a tankless? +
Maybe — we'll tell you straight. It depends on your hot-water habits and your gas or electrical capacity. If a tankless won't pay off for your house, we'll say so and quote the tank instead.
Do you take weekend calls? +
We're closed Saturday and Sunday. Emergencies during the week get priority same-day service. After hours, leave a message — the first call Monday morning is yours.
