Come grow with us.

Casaplanta Garden Center is a family-run tropical nursery tucked into Southwest Miami. Walk the grounds and you pass through three worlds: a full-sun yard of palms, trees, and shrubs; a shade house where the light drops and the air cools, home to calathea, vanda orchids, and houseplants that prefer it dim; and a pottery and furniture court stacked with Talavera pottery, fountains, outdoor furniture, and garden décor.

The sign out front reads “Come Grow With Us!” The staff will greet you with the Spanish version — “Estas en su casa” — which means the same thing: you are at home here.

What is on the ground.

  • a/Tropical palms, trees, and shrubs — the full-sun yard, built for South Florida heat.
  • b/Flowering plants, annuals, and perennials for every season the subtropics pretends not to have.
  • c/Houseplants from the shade house: calathea, vanda orchids, and succulent arrangements.
  • d/Culinary and medicinal herbs, plus Florida native plants that already know the soil.
  • e/Talavera pottery, fountains, outdoor furniture, garden décor — and the fertilizers your new plants will ask for by name.

Everything here is chosen for this climate, and the staff — bilingual in English and Spanish — will tell you exactly where in your yard each plant wants to live.

Designed.
Installed.
Kept alive.

The Landscape Division takes the nursery off the lot and into the ground. Four lines of work: landscape design, installation, plant leasing and display, and interior greenscaping.

A design starts with your light, your soil, and how much time you actually have — then the crew installs it, and the interiors team keeps indoor plantings alive long after the truck leaves. One nursery, one crew, from the first sketch to the last watering lesson.

“We won’t just sell you a plant, we will teach you how to care for it.”

— The Casaplanta promise

That line is the whole business model. Our nursery staff is hired to teach: how to fertilize, when to prune, what your plant needs next month and the month after.

You do not leave Casaplanta with a plant and a guess. You leave with a plant and a plan.
