Britannia Building & Roofing Ltd is a tight-knit, family-run roofing contractor based in Leeds, working across Ilkley and Yorkshire. With 35+ years of roofing experience across the team, we handle everything from new roofs on family homes to full commercial roofing programmes — and we do it with honest, itemised quotes and every trade kept in-house.

Our roofers hold NVQ Level 3 qualifications. Every job leaves with a minimum 1-year workmanship guarantee in writing. And if you want proof before you commit, we will arrange for you to see a previous job near you.

Full strip-and-replace on pitched roofs — battens, breathable membrane, tiles or slates, ridges and verges finished properly. Quoted per job with material options.

Flat roofing

EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and felt for extensions, garages and dormers. Failed coverings stripped to sound timber, re-boarded in 18mm OSB, then the system laid to spec.
