Stone & brick walling
Walls, raised beds, retaining walls — built plumb, footings below the frost line. Leaning walls repaired.

Crown lifts, careful reductions, deadwood removal — timed for the tree's health and your light.
Pergolas & timber
Pergolas, arches, timber structures — postcreted deep, braced square, built for Yorkshire winters.

Established in Morley in 1995, Blakewood runs five crews — three on maintenance, two on development. Most of the team have been with us for years.
Our work has been featured in Yorkshire Life, but the jobs we are proudest of never make a magazine: the terraced garden in Morley that finally drains, the school grounds in Wakefield the kids can use, the Roundhay patio where a family eats outside from April to October.
Everyone here is responsible, dependable and proud of the work. In practice that means fixed written quotes before we start, groundwork you never see but always feel, planting chosen for Yorkshire weather, and a site left tidy every single evening.
