About the firm
For over sixteen years we have been designing and building outdoor spaces across South Austin and the Texas Hill Country. We are not just installers. We are designers, gardeners, masons and craftspeople — one in-house crew from the first sketch to the last plant in the ground. Every project starts the same way: a quiet walk on your property, a conversation about how you live outside, and a sketch on paper.

What we do — service index
01
Native gardens
Planting plans built around Texas natives — drought-tough, pollinator-friendly, and made for Central Texas sun and limestone soil. Designed to mature beautifully, not to be replanted every spring.
02
Hardscape & stone
Patios, decks, retaining walls and walkways in Hill Country stone, custom gabion and Cor-Ten steel. Structures engineered for Texas heat and flash-flood rain, finished to look like they grew there.
03
Outdoor kitchens
Full outdoor cooking spaces — grills, counters, storage, gas lines — laid out around how you actually entertain, not around a catalog.
04
Pergolas & shade
Custom shade structures that make a South Austin backyard usable in August. Timber, steel, or mixed-material builds with climbing plants trained in.
05
Lighting design
Low-voltage landscape lighting that shows the garden a second time after dark — path lights, uplights on heritage trees, and warm kitchen-terrace glow.
06
Irrigation & drainage
Smart irrigation zones matched to your planting plan, plus drainage work that keeps a Hill Country slope from eating your patio every April.
07
Turf & pools
Artificial turf installs for dog yards and play zones, and pool-scaping that turns the slab around your pool into a place you actually want to sit.
Concept portfolio — illustrative
Illustrative examples only — not real projects of the company
Project 01 — South Austin
Hill Country courtyard
A boxed-in 1970s backyard re-cut around a limestone courtyard: gabion seat walls, a gravel rain garden that drinks the roof runoff, and a planting palette of salvia, muhly and Texas persimmon.
→Scope: design, stone, planting
→Materials: Hill Country limestone, gabion, decomposed granite
→Plants: 100% Texas natives
→Water: rain garden + drip zones
Project 02 — Buda
Pool terrace
The concrete halo around a stock-tank pool became a cedar-deck terrace with Cor-Ten planters, a shaded lounge pergola, and night lighting that keeps the space liveable past 9pm.
→Scope: build, lighting, planting
→Materials: cedar, Cor-Ten steel, flagstone
→Shade: custom timber pergola
→Light: 14 low-voltage fixtures
Project 03 — Dripping Springs
Front yard conversion
Turf out, natives in. A water bill the size of a phone bill: agave, sotol and a gravel ribbon path replacing 2,000 square feet of thirsty lawn on a corner lot.
→Scope: design, demolition, planting
→Water use: cut ~60% on the lot
→Materials: river rock, steel edging
→Timeline: one in-house crew, 3 weeks
Project 04 — Lakeway
Kitchen garden
An outdoor kitchen wired into the slope behind the house: stone counter wall, plumbed sink, and a stair-stepped herb garden the family actually cooks from.
→Scope: design, masonry, utilities
→Materials: chopped stone, steel, hardwood
→Utilities: gas, water, power runs
→Planting: culinary beds + drip
From first sketch to final plant.
Listen
A free 30-minute consultation. We walk your property, learn how you live outside — kids, dogs, drought, dinner parties — and start sketching on the spot.
Design
A digital landscape plan tailored to your land, your light and your budget. Revisions until it is right; nothing gets built that you have not seen on paper first.
Build
Our own crew of craftspeople installs every element — grading, stone, steel, planting — with one point of contact from start to finish.
Grow
We hand over a yard built to mature beautifully, with care guides and a phone number that still gets answered when you need it.

Questions, answered.
Do you charge for the first visit?
No — the first 30-minute consultation is free. We walk your property, talk through how you use the yard, and start sketching. The design plan that follows is quoted separately and credited toward the build if you proceed.
What areas do you serve?
South Austin and the Hill Country — including Buda, Kyle, Dripping Springs, Wimberley and Lakeway, across northern Hays and southern Travis County. Outside that ring, call and ask; we occasionally take on the right project further out.
Do you do both design and construction?
Yes — we are a design/build firm, not a designer who hands you off. The same crew that draws the plan installs it: grading, stone, steel, planting, irrigation and lighting, with one point of contact throughout.
When are you open?
Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am–3:00pm. The office at 11506 Easy St. is by appointment only — most first meetings happen on your property, not in our shop.
Will the plants survive a Texas summer?
That is the whole point of the native palette. We specify Texas-native and adapted plants matched to your soil and light, on drip zones sized for the plan — so the yard matures instead of melting every August.
