Family-run since 2001. We repair what can be repaired, replace what can't, and we tell you which one it is before we touch a shingle. Serving the whole Phoenix Valley.
Sample founder note — replace with the owner's own words.
Allstate Roofing was founded in 2001 by Chad and Kathy Thomas. Chad is a second-generation roofer — he learned the trade at fifteen, on real roofs, next to his father. That is still how the company runs: the person who looks at your roof is the person who grew up on them.
We are a repair-first shop. Plenty of contractors walk up, glance at a roof, and start talking replacement. We do the opposite. We get up there, find the actual failure — a cracked tile, a dried-out flashing, a bad valley — and if a repair will hold, we say so. A repair costs a fraction of a re-roof, and we would rather earn a customer for life than sell one big job.
When replacement is the honest answer, we say that too. Some roofs are done: underlayment cooked by twenty Phoenix summers, decking soft underfoot, leaks in three rooms. Then a repair is just a bandage, and we will not sell you one. You get a straight read, a written scope, and a price that does not move once we start.
No satellite guesses, no drive-by numbers. Someone from our crew physically walks your roof, photographs what we find, and shows you. A quote from us is built on what is actually up there: the material, the underlayment, the flashing, the decking.
This is the whole philosophy of the shop. If a $400 repair gives your roof five more years, we will tell you that and do the repair. If the roof is past saving, we will tell you that too — and show you exactly why, in the photos we took.
The crew that tears off your roof is the crew that installs it. We protect the landscaping, magnet-sweep the yard for nails twice, and walk the finished roof with you before the final invoice. If something is not right, we fix it on the spot.
Every roof is different — pitch, access, layers, material. The numbers here are samples so you can sanity-check any quote, including ours. Your free estimate is the real number: we measure, we photograph, we write it down, and it does not move.
Repairs are quoted flat, not by the hour. Re-roofs are quoted by the square with material and underlayment itemized. Commercial work is bid per project after a site walk.

Clay tile lifted, aged underlayment stripped to the deck, new high-temp underlayment and flashing, tile re-set with broken pieces replaced. The most common full job we do in the Valley.
Phoenix ValleyWater stain on a bedroom ceiling traced to a dried-out pipe flashing. Flashing replaced, surrounding tiles reset, water-tested with a hose before we left. Half a day, one trip.
Phoenix ValleyStorm-lifted shingles across two slopes. Full slope replacement rather than patchwork — patches on sun-baked shingles never blend and rarely last.
Phoenix ValleyFlat commercial roof with a foam system past its recoat window. Cleaned, primed, recoated and re-granulated. Another decade of waterproofing without a tear-off.
Phoenix ValleyYes — free, and no obligation. We come out, walk the roof, take photos, and give you a written scope and price. If you decide to wait a year, that is fine. The estimate costs you nothing but twenty minutes.
You do not have to know — that is the inspection's job. As a rule of thumb: one leak from one obvious failure usually means repair. Widespread granule loss, soft decking, or leaks in multiple rooms usually means the roof is done. We assess repair first and will tell you honestly which side of that line you are on.
Tile, shingle, and foam — residential and commercial. Tile is the Valley's signature and we do a lot of it, including underlayment replacement under existing tile. Shingle tear-offs, foam systems for flat roofs, and complete re-roofs round out the work. If it keeps rain out, we have probably fixed it.
The whole Phoenix Valley. We are based in Phoenix at 2955 W Clarendon Ave, and we run jobs across Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale, and the surrounding Valley cities. We also serve the Valley from Peoria — (602) 620-2755 — and Glendale — (602) 441-2237.
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Roofing starts early in Arizona — so do we. Call (602) 484-7663 or email [email protected] and a real person from the shop answers.
Call during shop hours and you will talk to someone who has been on a roof this week. Tell us what you are seeing — a stain, a missing tile, a roof of a certain age — and we will set up a free inspection.
