ADITI
yoga, slowly.

A small yoga studio on N 45th St in Seattle teaching three things well: slow Hatha yoga, prenatal yoga for expecting mothers, and massage therapy by appointment. No mirrors. No shouting. No keeping up.

Hatha Yoga

Slow, alignment-based postures held for breaths, not seconds. Standing poses, seated folds, gentle backbends, and a long rest nobody rushes. Teachers cue in plain language and show the prop version first. All levels — first-timers welcome.

Prenatal Yoga

Gentle, supported movement for expecting mothers, any trimester. No deep twists, no belly-down postures, plenty of side-lying rest. Bolsters and blankets do half the work. Check with your doctor or midwife first — then come breathe with us.

55 min · all trimesters · props provided

Massage Therapy

By appointment, 60 or 90 minutes. Focused table work for desk backs, tight hips, and shoulders that forgot how to drop. Tell us what is sore when you book — the session is built around it. Call (555) 010-2030.

Section 03 — Questions

Asked often.

Q.01

How much is a drop-in?

$22 (sample). Any Hatha or prenatal class, mat and props included. No membership required for your first visit — arrive ten minutes early and tell the teacher you are new.

Q.02

Do I need experience?

No — Hatha Foundations is built for first-timers. Postures are broken down slowly, props are encouraged, and resting whenever you need to is normal here, not a confession.

Q.03

Is prenatal yoga safe?

For most pregnancies, yes — but check with your doctor or midwife first. We skip deep twists and belly-down work, keep things prop-supported, and welcome every trimester.

Q.04

How do I book a massage?

Call (555) 010-2030. Massage is by appointment in 60- or 90-minute sessions — 60 minutes is $95 (sample). Mention what is sore when you book so the therapist can plan.

Q.05

What should I bring?

Water and clothes you can move in. Eat lightly an hour or two before class. Mats, blocks, straps, and blankets live at the studio — no gear to buy before you start.

Q.06

What does “Aditi” mean?

“Boundless” — from Sanskrit. We liked the idea: a practice with no finish line and no single right body for it. Stiff, tired, expecting, curious — the door is open.
